  1. How about a $7000 Noveske?   The following is a line used by the seller to justify is absurd asking price.     http://www.gunownersclub.com/listings/firearms/rifles/200743.html
  2. For those of you who were hoping for the real thing... :yuck:
  3. In order for this to work, it's going to take something very organized and very throughout and very big and very bold. I hope it works.
  4. Welcome to TGO. I am a transplant from the suburbs of Chicago. You couldn't pay me to go back.
  5. What type of floor?
  6. They posted an update a few days ago. I think they said it would open sometime mid / late February, weather permitting.
  7. Looks good, but I think the light needs to go on the bottom rail.
  8. They are surrounded by folks with plenty-o-money. Their doors would have been closed (or their prices would be lower) a long time ago had they been located in a different part of town.
  9. People still write checks? That's so 2002, for me anyway.
  10. Looks like we need to start doing a little pressuring of our own. We can contact the firearms manufacturers just like we do our representatives.
  11. He can probably write letters to anyone he wants. If these banks agree, not only will they lose money from firearms manufacturers, they should also lose money from anyone who supports the Second Amendment. They want to push their agenda, we have to push back twice as hard.
  12. Welcome to TGO. Enjoy your stay.
  13. I'm willing to bet that is not true. I'm failry certain the VA Tech shooter was Korean, not a U.S. citizen. I'm also fairly certain you don't register your party affiliation in Virginia.
  14. I don't know why, but I laughed out loud at that.
  15. The author is spot on, in my humble opinion. We must not allow ourselves to become complacent. Continue contacting your representatives. Keep spreading the word.
  16. And he was a teacher of constitutional law.
  17. Someone call a waaaaaaaaambulance! I didn't get my way, so I'm taking my ball and going home. He needs to be sent home for good.
  18. These people are amazingly stupid. I'm over being angry and frustrated. Now I find myself laughing at these fools.
  19. One of those is at the top of my wish list. Congrats.
  20. I'm willing to bet they have a valid reason for the search. Not that it can't or hasn't happened, but the Feds don't normally conduct raids of this nature without reason.
  21. I had the same issue a while back while browsing with my Android device. It lasted a few days or so, then stopped. I didn't make any changes on my end to solve the problem, so I'm not sure what caused it or why it stopped. Like you, mine was also thread specific.
  22. Looks like at least one credit card processor is refusing to offer their services to gun dealers. http://www.newschannel5.com/story/20701142/gun-dealers-have-problems-with-credit-card-processors
  23. I'm going to credit our very own 'itchytriggerfinger' for posting this link in another thread. I thought it was worthy of its own. I watched all of the videos, and I couldn't believe just how easily a child could possibly open some of these safes. One was even opened with a straw. Your biometric safes aren't any safer. If you have one of these safes, or are even considering one, I suggest you watch these videos. http://www.thesidebar.org/insecurity/?p=793
  24. That is some very scary stuff.
