  1. The stitching could use some improving on future holsters.
  2. And some people are very stupid.
  3. Did any of our members receive any storm damage last night or this morning? If so, don't hesitate to ask for any needed help. It go crazy in my area of Springfield at about 3:00 am, but there doesn't appear to be any destruction in our immediate area. Hope everyone is safe.
  4. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/01/29/gun-control-supporters-urge-obama-to-bypass-congress-on-new-measures/ Don't allow yourself to become complacent. The gun-grabbers are working feverishly to ensure our 2A rights are stripped away. We must push back twice as hard. If they pressure financial institutions, we must pressure financial institutions even harder. If they pressure manufacturers, we must pressure manufacturers even harder. If they pressure elected officials, we must pressure elected officials harder. Whoever they pressure, we must pressure harder. Do not just sit back and assume that someone else will do it. Assume that this fight is on YOUR shoulders. Contact anyone and everyone who may be feeling pressure from the opposition. It only takes a minute or two to send an email or make a phone call.
  5. If the seller is a private individual, make sure your FFL with except it. Some FFLs will only accept firearms from other FFLs.
  6. @ Live Action!
  7. I've heard/read about countless dog shootings. Sadly, this one actually sounds justifiable.
  8. Didn't get mine. Sniffle ...sniffle.
  9. I've never been a fan of HOAs until I bought my current home. I did a ton of research and driving around here before making an offer on the home. Our dues are only $25 per month, and it appears to be very well spent. The subdivision is only 8-years old, but it's obvious they don't mess around. You'll not see any junk vehicles, unkept yards or dilapidated homes around here. Granted, we've only been here since September, but I haven't heard anyone complain about the HOA so far.
  10. Already posted.
  11. Yeah, they have many uses. I have a modern version that I use as a coffee table. Build a quality item with color options and priced right, they will sell.
  12. Can't wait to get home to my best good friends.
  13. Just add it the the ever-growing list of ways which our .gov can spy on us without our knowledge.
  14. Now that was funny.
  15. I'll likely be way out-numbered, but that wasn't cool at all. I am disgusted by any form of animal abuse.
  16. That's disgusting. There are some very nice firearms in that pile.
  17. With the exception of the two boards on the top and two on the front, I like it. I keep all of mine in a safe for security purposes, but I suspect there would be a market with those who aren't quite so concerned about an actual safe. Nice work.
  18. Holy smokes! A blast from the past. Glad to know you're still alive. Where did you move to? We bought a house in Springfield in October. Other than that, it's much of the same. Congratulations on the grandson, rifle and wheel gun.
  19. Sweet! I'm sweating just looking at pictures of it.
  20. Based on what I've read, they rarely move the rifle. Most adjustments appear to be made by turning a couple knobs on the rest.
  21. 4 or 5 inch groupings at 1000 sounds pretty accurate to me.
  22. I was recently talking with a friend about doing just that. I'm surprised it hasn't happened more often.
  23. As someone who worked for about 10-years in the household moving business, 2 or 3 men with an appliance dolly (especially if it has a kick-out) can easily unload a 600-800 pound safe from a truck and set it in the garage.
  24. They make great card guards when playing poker.
