  1. Now that was funny.
  2. I'll likely be way out-numbered, but that wasn't cool at all. I am disgusted by any form of animal abuse.
  3. That's disgusting. There are some very nice firearms in that pile.
  4. With the exception of the two boards on the top and two on the front, I like it. I keep all of mine in a safe for security purposes, but I suspect there would be a market with those who aren't quite so concerned about an actual safe. Nice work.
  5. Holy smokes! A blast from the past. Glad to know you're still alive. Where did you move to? We bought a house in Springfield in October. Other than that, it's much of the same. Congratulations on the grandson, rifle and wheel gun.
  6. Sweet! I'm sweating just looking at pictures of it.
  7. Based on what I've read, they rarely move the rifle. Most adjustments appear to be made by turning a couple knobs on the rest.
  8. 4 or 5 inch groupings at 1000 sounds pretty accurate to me.
  9. I was recently talking with a friend about doing just that. I'm surprised it hasn't happened more often.
  10. As someone who worked for about 10-years in the household moving business, 2 or 3 men with an appliance dolly (especially if it has a kick-out) can easily unload a 600-800 pound safe from a truck and set it in the garage.
  11. They make great card guards when playing poker.

  13. Thanks to 56FordGuy, the issue is resolved. It was just a matter of removing a couple set screws and adjusting the gas block. We didn't try before fixing it, but it functioned perfectly after he was done. Thank you very much for your help and wisdom.
  14. Yeah, that's beyond my current knowledge of ARs. Looks like I'll be learning in short order.
  15. According to the person I got it from, he got it from a local shop. The scratches aren't nearly as noticeable as they appear in the photo. I'll take it apart and see what I can figure out.
  16. This complete upper is brand new and came to me like this. I did some trading with a member here on TGO. I've never had one apart, but it looks like I may have to learn.
  17. Is it canted too far? I haven't had a chance to shoot it, so I thought I'd get some opinions before I do.
  18. Here's the one we purchased. It may or may not have additional features that you would find useful, but not offered with the Roku. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+Wi-Fi+Built-In+Blu-ray+Player/4790296.p;jsessionid=724E6297E1C4597F53F42BD80183C207.bbolsp-app03-52?id=1218531614485&skuId=4790296&st=BDPS390&cp=1&lp=1
  19. As far as the Hulu/Netflix goes, you can buy a smart Blu-ray player with built-in wi-fi for about $60 - $80. You can stream all kinds of stuff through it. We just bought a Sony from Best Buy as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend's father. He loves it. I see that you mentioned not watching DVDs or Blu-Ray, but I thought I'd throw that out there as a fairly inexpensive method. Plus, you'll have the option, just in case.

  21. Welcome to TGO. Enjoy your stay.
  22. I'm going ghetto-style tonight with Michelob Amberbock Dark Lager.
  23.   The Wal-Mart stores in my area stock the guns and ammo between about 7:00 am - 10:00 am.
  24.   Excluding optics, my AR is complete. I'm still looking to swap the stock for a Magpul, but I'm in no real hurry for that.   Either way, TGO is stuck with me. :taunt:
