  1. Follow them on Facebook. They update their page when they get items in stock.
  2. Maybe "many" isn't the right word. They are out there, though. My point is, if there are retailers who are still selling hot items at "normal" prices, they also must be purchasing the hot items from distributors at normal prices, or something pretty close. Here is a complete list of what Whittaker's had for sale one day last week. 1-S&W M&P15T 5.56 mod811039 $999 1-Armalite AR-15A4C 7.62x39 $999 1-Bushmaster mod 90591 $999 1-Bushmaster mod 91822 $599 2-Ruger 1911 Commander mod6702 $629 10-Windham R16M4A4T 5.56 $889 8-Windham R16M4FTT 5.56 $849 25-Bushmaster XM15 uppers mod91822 $599 Black MAG Tactical Lowers in stock! $169 Those are close to normal. You're probably not seeing to many normal prices because they are out of stock before you get there.
  3. If the stupid people quit buying at the inflated prices, the prices would quickly return to something that resembles normal.
  4. Thanks for the help.
  5. Here's a link to the bolt. http://mapartsinc.com/productsDetail.asp?id=539
  6. It appears to be fully assembled.
  7. I purchased a bolt for an AR build, and I want to make sure I order everything else to go with it. Do I need anything other than the firing pin, firing pin retaining pin and cam pin? I'm also in the process of hunting down a carrier with gas key. Will I need anything else? Thanks in advance.
  8. All over the internet. Here's one. http://www.elitetacticalweapons.com/80-receivers-jigs/
  9. I've spoken with 2 TGO vendors in the last month, and both claimed that distributor pricing hasn't increased that much on most items. The fact that many retailers are still selling hot items (ARs, ammo, etc.) at or near pre-shooting prices makes me believe them.
  10. This story was posted when they first raided his home. The fact that no charges have 'yet' been brought against this man doesn't mean much. The .gov is just making sure they have their ducks in a row before officially charging him with a laundry list of crimes. If they have years invested in watching this guy, the last thing they want to see is him walking on a technicality.
  11. Do what he did; buy an 80% receiver and the jig. I've never tried it, but they make it look fairly simple.
  12. I know someone who buys totaled vehicles and repairs them to sell. Most are pretty decent cars. Flood damage is the biggest problem. The damage can often be hidden fairly easily, and the electrical issues may not appear for quite a while after the flood damage has occurred. It sometimes takes a decent period of time for things to begin rusting to the point where you'll begin to have electrical issues. A friend of mine recently purchased some sort of KIA SUV/Cross-over thing with a rebuilt title. It was totaled after a rear-end collision. They did a great job at repairing everything to the point where you couldn't hardly notice anything was ever wrong with it....until it rains. They couldn't get the body/roof area above one of the back doors quite perfect, so there's a decent leak when it rains. Unless you compare both sides of the vehicle in that particular area, you'd never notice it had been repaired.
  13. :biglol:
  14. Congratulations to the bride and groom.
  15. This is the third or fourth well-known person related to the firearms industry to die in such a short period of time.
  16. Precious! Congratulations to you and your wife.
  17. Interesting. There was a very similar story of this happening somewhere around the Middle Tennessee area a few weeks ago.
  18.   No. Not that it really matters, but I just realized I wasn't sure who the manufacturer was.
  19. Is there any way to identify a BCG that doesn't have any markings?
  20. Some people just need rescuin'.
  21. A friend of mine just ordered 2 of the MAG stripped lowers. He had to dial the phone about 400 times to get through, but he finally got it. I don't know anything about those MAG lowers, so I guess we'll find out.
  22. I did not realize Android no longer supported flash. Thanks. The fix was found a the following link. It too about 30 seconds to solve the problem. http://blogs.computerworld.com/application-security/21377/updating-flash-player-android-now-requires-hack?mm_ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fsearch%3Fhl%3Den%26redir_esc%3D%26client%3Dms-android-sprint-us%26source%3Dandroid-com.sec.android.app.twlauncher%26v%3D141400000%26qsubts%3D1359834028450%26q%3Dflash%2Bplayer%2Bfor%2Bandroid
  23. He was invited to be a vendor several times when he first opened. Who knows, maybe he's secretly shipping everything to the drug cartels in Mexico. I've heard they pay top dollar.
