That's exactly why I'm pro-choice. Except in her situation; she doesn't deserve a choice.

What's she look like?

What? I thought only broke people got refunds. -
And this only applies to "modern sporting rifles". They will continue to sell everything else to the enemy. F-them. I don't care what kind of deals they may have on any particular item, I don't buy from them...PERIOD. Unless someone on here posts a laughable link of theirs, I don't even go to their site.

Awesome!

I'm guessing closer to 900 pounds. 8 bags at 80 lbs = 640 lbs + roughly 70 lbs water = 710 lbs Stand = 200 lbs Total 910 lbs Did you reinforce the concrete with steel bars, wire, etc.? If not, I'm afraid that top will crack if you tempt to drag it around too much.

Did anyone attend their Grand Opening today? How was it? I was going to check it out, until I found out they were selling .223 for $850 + tax for 1000 rounds.

You may have to declare it at an airport if you're leaving the country. A bank may have to notify the IRS if you make a cash deposit of that amount. It is not illegal to walk, drive, skip or jump with that much money on your person. That is, unless you get stopped by the drug task force here in the state of Tennessee. Then they will take your money, harass you for a while on the side of the interstate and send you on your way without filing any charges. Oh yeah, they will also keep your money and never return it. But hey, that's a small price to pay to live in a free society.

Saw this on GOC, just thought I'd pass it along.

That would probably explain the price. For my current use, that's too rich for my blood. I have plans of building some sort of rifle geared more towards precision shooting, so I'll probably be forced to spend that kind of money one of these days. -
Sadly, it's not only Memphis. News Channel 5 in Nashville did a lengthy "Policing For Profit" investigation into these drug task forces in our area. It's scary to see what these thugs get away with. News Channel 5 used their own helicopter to covertly follow and record some of these task forces doing their "job". They caught these scumbags lying through their teeth about why they were pulling people over. One of the task force agents claimed he pulled someone over for weaving over the lines in the road. The video footage recorded from the helicopter proved that to be a complete lie. The suspect was driving just fine, while the LEO was the one who appeared to be driving home from a long night of binge drinking. The entire investigation revealed some very disturbing information about how these task forces operate.

With so many similar stories on A fairly regular basis, that's becoming increasingly more difficult to do. It appears the police officers need to do a far better job of policing themselves. All three incidents I mentioned in my previous post involved multiple officers. This means every officer involved had to be dumb enough to think their actions were legit. That, or those who knew better simply decided to keep their mouths shut and follow along with something they knew was wrong. Either way, at some point, incidents like these can no longer be considered isolated. How 'bout some real punishments when these type of situations occur? Like most government employees, it seems these idiots receive little more than a slap on the hand, if any punishment at all.

And some wonder why so many have a negative view of LEO. Blatant abuse of power on a regular basis will do that. I've been reading the local news this morning for about 15-minutes or so, and this is the 3rd story I've read about bad cops. First story was about some douchebag Metro cop that slashed a homeless man's tent. He was removed from the streets and his commander(s) have since apologized. The second was about Sherrif's deputies in or around Camden who broke through a locked gate and kicked in the doors of a home where they *thought* there may have been some underage drinking going on. At least one officer testified that another hit a someone in the face with a flashlight. That person was already cuffed and face down on the ground. A judge tossed the entire case, saying the cops had no cause to enter the property in the first place. There in now a federal lawsuit. Then there is this story. All three in the LOCAL news just today. Who knows what else has happened that went unreported, not only locally, but nationally. And some wonder why so many don't trust any LEO.

I must have missed that. I scrolled down to where (I think) you could add the item to your cart, and under "number of rounds" it said 50. It very well could have been a typo. With the exception of using it for competitive shooting where precision is important, I could never justify $1+/round for .223. With it being sold out, obviously others can. -
I've never had an issue with steel cases in any gun.

DHS explains ammo purchase reasons. Are they kidding?

That's a major obstacle. The .gov keeps everyone too scared to say and do what they *really* want to say and do, especially those with the loudest voice. They'll use whatever tactics necessary to ensure The People stay in lock-step. The .gov tracks everything from internet to instant messages; cell to short wave communications. Not to mention the countless domestic spys used to infiltrate groups, even possibly right here on TGO. They intentionally make it very difficult to "assemble" much of anything. If The People ever decide it's time to regain control of the country, it will take something very massive. It will take many groups in many location working in unison. As long as everyone is too scared to take the plunge, it will likely take a complete meltdown of our financial system, or something of similar magnitude. -
