  1. What a mess. Did you already send them money, or are you paying a total of $100?
  2. Now you all are making me nervous. I purchased this from a fellow TGOer. What I purchased was a Palmetto State Armory Magpul MOE Lower Build Kit. There was no "package", but everything looks legit.
  3. It was re-drilled by who?
  4. TripleDigitRide

    Which one?

    A rifle, without a doubt.
  5. I picked up two 333 round boxes of Winchester 36 grain hollow points from Wal-Mart today for 14.XX each. Not sure what type the 325 round boxes are, but either way, that's not too bad.
  6. With never a single hint of banning or limiting ammo of any kind, this is simply  :screwy:
  7. I watched a video the other day of someone using Rit clothes dye on a stock.
  8. I'm going to take them to Guns & Leather and compare with other Magpul products. It's driving me nuts.
  9. I added a picture without using the flash.
  10. Yeah, in person, they kinda look like foliage green, but the picture makes them look olive drab green.
  11. They look ODG in the picture, but they look a lighter in person.
  12. Edited to show a picture without the flash. I'm not very familiar with Magpul colors. this photo makes them look a little darker than they are. With Flash Without flash
  13. There you go making all of us gun owners look like cat killers.
  14. Looks like they just took the targets down and issued a statement.
  15. Gallatin Gun Club is $50 a year.
  16. I had a few pleasant buying experiences from them. The last order for two hand picked hex receiver Mosin's took 2 1/2 months to get. The website said they were in stock, but I received weekly excuses, until they finally showed up at my door.
  17. I'm a member at a private club with a 300 yard range, and the membership is $50 a year. I think Charlie Hafner range is similarly priced. For a 200 yard or less range, $250 may be pushing it. But hey, people are paying far more than that for a yearly membership at boring indoor ranges. Then again, they can comfortably shoot all year long. I would definitely attempt to separate your personal assets for the range. Even if you have someone sign a waiver, nothing prevents them or family members from suing you anyway. It doesn't take long for attorney fees to add up, especially if someone is seriously hurt or killed.
  18. I thought there was a rule regarding something like "for sale to the highest offer", so they skirt around that by posting something being "open to trade offers". Kinda the same, but not really. Just hoping they can turn a 6-month old $400 purchase into a current market $800 trade.
  19. Unless you're extremely desperate, you can pretty well bet that responding to that person will be a waste of your time. Those of us who've been around here long enough can see the difference between classified ads of the past and many of those of the present.
  20. I think the whole "auction" atmosphere has been brought on by the current market. I suspect some people are too embarrassed to openly gouge, while others are simply seeking the most desperate person to come along.
  21. Happy ending? I guess I'm gonna have to "freshen up" before we hook up tomorrow evening.
  22. I guess I should have clarified my question a little bit. Does Wal-Mart get trucks in during the weekend?
