  1. Yeah, this is a very unrealistic scenario on almost every level. Not a very good argument.
  2. The jig is designed to ensure you drill the correct sized hole in the proper location.
  3. This will be the least of the things they get away with. They simply are not held accountable for much of anything. Same ****, different day.
  4. How much for a case of that PMC .223?
  5. Yep. Was just there on Friday. Lots of stock, but you'll pay for it.
  6. Welcome to TGO. Make yourself at home and enjoy your stay.
  7. And spells "loses" wrong. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
  8. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Hydro-dipped+gun
  9. By the way, he also had a guitar body hydro-dipped for carbon fiber look. It was then clear coated for a glossy look. He plays hard rock / metal, and it's help up very nicely. The guitar is abused far more than his guns.
  10. I know someone who had some AR parts (stock, grip, handguard) hydro-dipped. The first time he didn't have a clear coat applied, so it didn't last long. The second time he had them apply a "flat" clear coat, and it looks great. He had this done last spring, and it is holding up very nicely. He doesn't abuse it, but when I saw it a couple weeks ago, I didn't notice and scratches or chips.
  11. There's nothing difficult about it. He listed a laundry list of items for trade/sale, I responded with prices I was willing to pay for several items, he agreed to all but one price. I have since messaged to set up a time to pick up or arrange payment and shipping. It's been nothing but a runaround, so I gave up.
  12. I'm glad you were able to buy something. He's been nothing but a pain in the ass when I've tried to buy stuff from him.
  13. You need to move out West if you want to shoot at those distances.
  14. After a few scores my girlfriend and I have made over the last couple of days, I am now set on all calibers I own. I'm confident I have enough to last me until this blows over. It took a couple early mornings and a little bit of luck, but we got everything at about the lowest prices you'll find them right now. I will not find myself unprepared again.
  15. It had to be the lighting. I took the stock to Guns & Leather, and it was a perfect match for the FDE Magpul items they had in stock.
  16. It depends on what the market does and whether or not they are banned in the future. If the market gets back to where it was a few months ago, you'll have paid about double. If they are banned, you'll be glad you paid double.
  17. Was he from Gordonsville?
  18. I think it's SOKOCOM.  :P
  19. They are FDE. Just stopped by Guns & Leather to check. Perfect match to other FDE products. I should have taken the seller at his word. By the way, the had several 100 round CCI 22LR for $8, limit 2. Won't last long.
  20. That is for sure. I was one of those dummies who wasn't prepared. One thing is for certain, that will not happen again. Had I just kept what I had, instead of selling off some stuff to fund my new house, I wouldn't have found myself in such a position. In the future, I'll be keeping what I have and taking the time to save the money.
  21. And how about those who bump their grossly over-priced ads on a daily basis, or even multiple times daily?  :taser:
  22. You can still buy almost anything at (or close to) pre-craze prices, you just have to be patient and willing to put in a little time.
  23. The problem is, you can't prove they did it, and they know it. If I read your posts correctly, you're at least the 3rd owner, correct? Who knows what happened while in the hand of previous owners. I purchased a brand new Dan Wesson CBOB a few years ago and put a box or two of 10mm through it. Everything worked flawlessly. I then sold it to a member here on TGO, and he started having trouble with it right off the bat. He then sold it to another TGO member who also had trouble with it. I gave that member all the paperwork and receipt so he could have it taken care of. I lost track of It after that, but it was a mess.
