1. Mine will likely be a 300 BLK.
2. It was likely the SOCOM model.
3. Yeah, I plan on this being the start of a 300 BLK, so I'd just prefer it not be marked 5.56. Not that it makes a big difference, but I figured others would be in the same boat. I'll take it either way.
4. Bic lighters are your friend.
5. D&T Arms in Rivergate is $15 for TGO members.
6. Is it safe to assume these will be Multi-Caliber?
7. Yes, I watched it. And you're confusing me. Either I am misunderstanding what you are saying, or you are misunderstanding what I am saying. I'm pretty sure you and I are on the same page with this subject. Am I missing something?
8. Either way, it seems to be far too easy for the state to take your HCP for what I think are BS reasons. But, I guess that's how the government operates.   It's no big deal until it happens to you. One small slip up on your part, and BAM!, there they are to pounce. I have a feeling that Yeager would have seen a different outcome had he not had the money for a good attorney.    I'm not willing to be as openly vocal on the internet about certain things, so I'd like to think I wouldn't find myself in a situation similar to Yeager, David Sarti, or even Kwik. But on the off chance the wrong person misconstrues something I've said, I'd hate to think my HCP and right to bear arms could so easily be stripped away. Unlike Yeager, I probably don't have the money or worldly possessions to afford a good attorney.    While we're sitting here thinking that they deserved it because they said some crazy things, just remember, the line between sane and crazy is drawn with an extremely broad brush, and they don't appear to have a problem with moving that line altogether when they see fit.
9. I just re-watched several of his videos last night, including a couple where he waived a piece of paper in front of the camera and said he was on a federal "no firearms list". He then began waiving several guns in front of the camera while saying "they didn't take my guns, because I don't own any guns." Shortly after than, he quit showing any guns in his videos.
10. Since when is .40/round for Wolf ammo a good price, especially when buying it buy the case? I have seen them higher in recent months, but that's still too high.
11. It's been well over a year now, and as of 2 weeks ago, he still has not received his HCP, nor is he allowed to own firearms.
12. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/44476-doomsday-prepper-has-his-guns-confiscated-by-the-state-of-tn/?hl=+david%20+sarti
13. "If it goes one inch further, I'm going to start killing people." Those were his exact words.   First of all, my issue isn't him at all. My issue is with the way in which the State of Tennessee appears to make such decisions based on whichever way the wind happens to be blowing.   I'm not saying he should not get his HCP back, but we've seen others lose their HCP for far less, and not get them back. David Sarti from Lebanon comes to mind. As far as I know, he is still HCP-less.
14. There's no doubt the .gov has long been reading/intercepting email, text messages, etc. without a warrant or your knowledge. They may not be able to use it against you right away, but what they read can assist in their "investigation". They will then use that information to find out more information, build a case against you, get a warrant (only for procedural purposes) for access to emails and texts they've already accessed, act surprised by what they've found, continue to build the case against you, etc.....
15. Why is he allowed to have his HCP reinstated, but Kwik isn't. I'm not a fan of Kwik, but he didn't break any laws, and I think Yeager openly threatening to kill people was more sever. If nothing else, this sets precedence. It's okay to threaten to kill people without losing your HCP.
16. And most of those were given an "A" rating by the NRA.
17. One of the funniest videos I've seen in a ling time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnydFmqHuVo
18. Hell yeah! I've seen both of them more than once, but never together. Congrats!
19. Awesome news. Congratulations!
20. To a certain degree, possibly. I am all for freedom of expression, but you have to use some common sense. Following the rules can sometimes suck, but tyats just the way it is. I have a friend that works for a parcel delivery company, and if he wants to keep his job, he must adhere to their extremely strict dress code. This also includes the type of facial hair he's allowed to have. He didn't like being forced to shave his ZZ Top lookin' beard for the job, but that was a call he had to make. I can't tell you how often my daughter comes to me with a request to do something crazy to her hair, or get a piercing other than her ears. I use my better judgement, tell her no, and explain why. It sucks, but in a few short years, she can make those decisions for herself. Until then, that's my job.
