  1.       That's good to know. I'd like a 16" barrel, but that doesn't appear to be very common with a pistol length system. I'll do some more searching.
  2.     Which length pistol barrel would you suggest?
  3. Duh! Thank you very much. I knew it was easy.

  5. I see some of you doing this, and I knew how at one time.    I thought there was a tab that would be clicked, then you'd type in the URL in one space, then the text you wanted display in a second space.   Can someone please explain?   Thanks in advance.
  6. Who's the manufacturer?
  7. Now you've got me a little worried. I had planned for a carbine length, maybe a mid-length.
  8. Yeah, it took a lot of work/time to build one for a decent price. Lately, I've been seeing more deals via Facebook than anywhere. I started getting into some giveaways, and I've managed to "like" about 300 pages, most of them firearms related websites that I'd never heard of before. I'm seeing all kinds of stuff for pre-panic prices, or somewhere very close. Many of them only advertise on Facebook, so the competition to snag something while still in stock isn't quite as fierce.
  9. Horrible excuse. :p
  10. That is the next thing on my to-do list. I've the bench built, now I need to money for the setup.
  11. Y'all need to stop bringing up the .458. I'm trying very hard to go with the .300 BLK instead of the .458. The fact that I don't currently reload has me scared of the cost and availability of ammo for the .458.

  13. Mine will likely be a 300 BLK.
  14. It was likely the SOCOM model.
  15. Yeah, I plan on this being the start of a 300 BLK, so I'd just prefer it not be marked 5.56. Not that it makes a big difference, but I figured others would be in the same boat. I'll take it either way.
  16. Bic lighters are your friend.
  17. D&T Arms in Rivergate is $15 for TGO members.
  18. Is it safe to assume these will be Multi-Caliber?
  19. Yes, I watched it. And you're confusing me. Either I am misunderstanding what you are saying, or you are misunderstanding what I am saying. I'm pretty sure you and I are on the same page with this subject. Am I missing something?
  20. Either way, it seems to be far too easy for the state to take your HCP for what I think are BS reasons. But, I guess that's how the government operates.   It's no big deal until it happens to you. One small slip up on your part, and BAM!, there they are to pounce. I have a feeling that Yeager would have seen a different outcome had he not had the money for a good attorney.    I'm not willing to be as openly vocal on the internet about certain things, so I'd like to think I wouldn't find myself in a situation similar to Yeager, David Sarti, or even Kwik. But on the off chance the wrong person misconstrues something I've said, I'd hate to think my HCP and right to bear arms could so easily be stripped away. Unlike Yeager, I probably don't have the money or worldly possessions to afford a good attorney.    While we're sitting here thinking that they deserved it because they said some crazy things, just remember, the line between sane and crazy is drawn with an extremely broad brush, and they don't appear to have a problem with moving that line altogether when they see fit.
  21. I just re-watched several of his videos last night, including a couple where he waived a piece of paper in front of the camera and said he was on a federal "no firearms list". He then began waiving several guns in front of the camera while saying "they didn't take my guns, because I don't own any guns." Shortly after than, he quit showing any guns in his videos.
  22. Since when is .40/round for Wolf ammo a good price, especially when buying it buy the case? I have seen them higher in recent months, but that's still too high.
