  1. Funny that you mentioned the Lancer L5. I won a contest on Facebook, and as part of the prize package, I received one of the Lancer L5AWMs. It's a hybrid magazine, and I am very impressed so far. I literally just opened the box 10 minutes ago, so it hasn't seen any range time yet.
  2. I was going to suggest the antlers, but you mentioned your reservations.
  3. Make sure you check their hours before you come. And give yourself plenty of time. Prince's usually has a line before they open. Moore's is a one man operation, so it isn't uncommon for it to take 45 minutes to an hour from the time you order until you get your food. It's best to call in your order in advance at Moore's. I don't know if that's an option at Prince's. I don't know anything aboutb the other place or two that have been mentioned.
  4. I thought that was the old Carl Black shop.
  5. While searching for ideas for a possible .300 BLK build, I ran across this. It looks like a much easier method when compared to an adjustable gas block. Based on the description, you're forced to go with a carbine length gas system. 6. The FBI is far smarter than myself, but it's going to take some convincing to make me believe these are the guys responsible for the bombing.
  7. Rarely are these people sharp enough to get away with it.
  8. Edit - This post is in response to Steelharp. We moved and don't get that way too often, so we haven't been there in the last 6 months or so. A friend of mine who was a regular there recently told me the quality has gone down. I don't have any first hand knowledge of that.
  9. Blame it on Taxes.
  10. If you had any real desire to continue to be part of this site, it would have been in your best interest to know who you're talking to.
  11. I've still not tried Prince's, but there is a pretty good place in Hendersonville. Moore's Famous Chicken. Good stuff.
  12. Ahhh, very good idea. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Have you thought about an offset scope mount? Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  14. I believe leash laws are on a city by city basis, but I'm fairly certain most cities have such laws on the books.
  15. This was probably in the "hipster" section of East Nastyville.
  16. The article I read yesterday said that "Milo" had left bloody puncture wounds in at least one of the leashed dogs. If any dog, no matter its size, makes one of my dogs bleed, it will be shot or severely injured by way of my foot. The method will only depend on the dog and the situation.
  17. Perfectly legal. If you are in fearful that the dog may injure you or your dog, yes, you can shoot. Whether the owner is there or not has no bearing on the legality.
  18. An envelope containing ricin or other poison was sent to the Capitol Hill office of Sen. Roger Wicker, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Tuesday. The letter to the Mississippi Republican was intercepted by a mail screening facility in Maryland.
  19. Metallica said it best...Kill 'em All .
  20. Congratulations to Mommy and Daddy.
  21. Yeah, I don't know any inside information. I'm just going by what I read via the various news outlets. They very well could have agreed to pay the fines just to settle and move on.
  22. It's a mind game.
