  1. Yeah, me too. But I figured a $10 purchase of something I needed anyways for a chance to win a $1000 scope. It was worth a shot.
  2. Yeah, it's only mentioned on their Facebook page for some reason. They just got the website up and running Friday night, so they probably haven't gotten that far yet.
  3. One of the pages I follow on Facebook is giving away a Leupold Mark 4 scope to someone who makes a purchase from their new website by tomorrow afternoon. As of the time of this post, there are only 4 people entered. That's pretty good odds. There is no minimum purchase required. http://www.upstate-tactical.com https://www.facebook.com/UpstateTactical
  4. Yep. For the most part, buyers/bidders are willing to pay retail+ for some reason. I was recently looking for a Noveske QD receiver end plate, and people were paying $35+ plus $5-$10 shipping on eBay. I found one at an online retailer for $25 plus $4.99 shipping. I've recently noticed several similar situations like that on eBay.
  5. As of two minutes ago, these went into "in stock" status. $165   https://www.civtactical.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=34&products_id=134
  6. You could make some real good money...
  7. If you're that desperate and have the money to burn, buy away. If I had a ton of money just sitting around collecting dust, I may be willing to do the same thing. Because i have to be more frugal with my hobby funds than some, I try to look for good deals.
  8. True, but I refuse to pay "today's" prices. When I built my AR a couple months ago, I started out with zero .223/5.56. Since then, I've been able to pick up over 2000 rounds of mostly 5.56, none for over .50/round. I had to be patient, but I didn't have to pay .70-.75 per round.    The trick for me was to buy almost any handgun calibers I could find at pre-craze price, then trade it. It was very difficult to buy with cash at a pre-craze price, but people were willing to trade.
  9. At those prices, I wouldn't buy either. Just a month or so ago, I paid .25/round for 400 rounds and .40/round for 500 rounds. All was green tip. I wouldn't pay more than .50/round, but that's me.
  10. Nice! What time is dinner?
  11. Truth be told, I'm actually more irritated by those who turn "you all" into "yuns", and "twice" into "twiced".
  12. Unless that EZ9 was gold plated, I'd say you got the better end of that deal, by far. I know that's not the point, but...
  13. Which option do you prefer?   What's your favorite model?
  14. I received emails and saw it on Facebook.
  15. Apache revolver
  16. Gen3 $16.95   http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/MAGPUL_M3_PMAG_30rd_AR15_M16_NON_WINDOW_MAG_557_p/mag-557.htm
  17. Can you imagine how boring it is for those guys to ride in daily traffic at 70-80 mph?
  18. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/05/02/poll-shows-2-percent-voters-think-armed-revolution-might-be-needed/?test=latestnews
  19. The Daily Currant is satire. The story is not real.
  20. Interesting. Unless there's something I'm missing, that's one of the dumbest laws I've heard of. Does anyone know the purpose of said law?
  21. When country music was country music.
  22. I haven't cheeked since Monday, but Upstate Tactical had a bunch of ammo in stock. http://www.upstate-tactical.com/catalog/?ret_id=1330319 I've had great experiences with them.
  23. I have 350+ "liked" firearms related pages on Facebook, and I'm seeing PMAGs being listed all day long. Gen2 and Gen3 for $11.xx - $19.99.
