  1. Thanks for the info. Just got off the phone wiht them. Best price by about $10.
  2. Based on that photo, it appears what i have here is one of those termite swarmers. We had the home inspected for termites before we bought it in September, so hopefully they just came from the nearby woods.
  3. I'm needing someone to come spray my house in Springfield. Just thought I'd check here first.
  4. Based on pictures I've found, it looked more like an ant, but I wanted to be sure.
  5. I just walked outside, and there was a ton of them swarming near my deck.
  6. I know the picture isn't the greatest, but I was hoping someone may be able to identify it.
  7. I would try that first. Don't be surprised if they tell you to contact Bushmaster.
  8. As far as the optic goes, everything I have read indicates that the optic is made by Bushnell.
  9. Personally, I haven't heard anyone complain about them. Then again, I don't personally know anyone that owns one. I can't say that I've read any horror stories on here or the other 1 or 2 sites I frequent.
  10. Probably a fifty pounder. They have some force. Nothing says "I like pain" quite as well as using a machine with 200 lbs of force to slam a 1700 degree piece of metal that your holding lol. And yeah that axe will bring money... Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere I sure hope it will bring money, because that looks like a whole lotta hard work. Amazing talent.
  11. Just the fact that he got the gun for about $100, if you consider what the ammo is worth.
  12. Until not too long ago, I made regular deliveries to the Turney Center Industrial Prison. While there were a few who so badly wanted to be a real LEO but likely couldn't cut it, most of them were real nice men and women who truly hated that sh***y job. Even though I disagree with how the OP was treated, after hearing those guards talk about miserable their jobs were, I would have felt real bad by giving them a hard time over some pictures.
  13. According to some of the comments, it appears the homeowner was a drug dealer. Either way, there is one less criminal we need to worry about.
  14. Pistol - .40 Rifle - 5.56 (sooner or later, this will be changed to 300 BLK) Shotgun - 12 guage
  15. WOW! I'm glad everyone walked away without any extra holes in them,
  16. Cab driver in Colorodo thinks Perazzi executive is a terrorist   May be a hoax that spread like wildfire: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/05/daniel-zimmerman/perazzi-arrest-a-fbrication/
  17. Yeah, no box. And he hadn't had a chance to clean it up at all before taking the pictures.
  18. No doubt. There's no shortage of those in his garage.
  19. I offered in $157. He said that he loved me, but wasn't if he loved me that much.
  20. I'm doing that now. That and GunBorker. Not many to choose from.    I added pics to the original thread.
  21. Pictures added. Anyone wanna take a stab at rating it's condition?
  22. According to a fellow TGOer, it is a 1978-1979 model. Now trying to determine the value.
  23. Yes, that is very helpful. Thank you. Are you looking at a book that may give a possible ballpark value? I'm still waiting on photos to determine condition.
  24. As I mentioned in a previous thread, my Father just picked up a S&W 14-4 .38 Special with a 6" barrel. The serial number is 27K73xx   Thank you in advance.
  25. My Father lives in Tulsa, and he does some buying and selling of mostly Harley Davidson motorcycles and motorcycle parts on the side. He got a call from some guy who recently inherited a bunch of his Grandfather's stuff, so he went to check out the old motorcycle. As they were loading the motorcycle, my Dad asked him if he happened to have anything else for sale. The guy told him he also inherited "some old revolver" that his Grandfather kept locked up next to the bed for the last several years. Not knowing much about guns, my Dad called me while the guy went to get it. It was a Smith & Wesson 14-4 with a 6" barrel. He also had 100+ rounds of .38 Special. I told him to ask the guy what he wanted for it. The guy said "$150 for the gun and ammo". I instantly told my Dad to give him the money and calmly run as fast as he can. After buying the bike, he only had $147 in his pocket, so he walked away with what he described as a "real nice" Smith & Wesson 14-4 and 100+ rounds of ammo for $147. I'm waiting on pictures and serial number. Please ignore his poor gun handling skillz in the second picture.
