I let is soak overnight in PB Blaster, but I'll try WD40 when I get home.

It is a work knife, so I'm not overly concerned. I've never had this issue before, so I'm more curious than anything.

Can you tell me what may cause these spots, and what would possibly remove them? The knife is a month or so old. The spots appear to be brown in color, much like rust. I've tried to remove them with gun cleaner, gun lubricant, and even let the blade soak overnight in PB Blaster. They don't appear to be fading, much less coming off. The knife has been used to cut tape and shrink wrap, and I've never had this issue with any other knife. The knife is a "blemished" model from KershawGuy.com, so I am not expecting ZT to fix or replace it, but I am a little bummed.

I don't know that I'd like one on my rifle, but I'm thinking there could be a benefit when using an AR pistol. Umbrella Corporation Weapons Research Group makes this (pictured right) one, but it lacks texture for added grip. Does anyone know of other companies that make similar grips?

Yes, it is. There was 10-12 bricks at my Wal-Mart last Friday, and there was at least that much this morning when I took the car for an oil change.

That pretty well sums it up.    I believe this is just a bump in the road for most of the troops that are sponsored by a group that has decided or will decide to end their relationship with the BSA. In most cases, if not all, other groups will step up to sponsor the troops.
