Gauging Interest - TGO Logo Stainless Steel Tumbler

I definitely missed that part. I'm on Tapatalk, so I can't see a poll. -
Gauging Interest - TGO Logo Stainless Steel Tumbler
TripleDigitRide replied to TGO David's topic in General Chat
Put me down for one. Thanks. By the way, I like the three-hole icon. -
It's not for everyone. 4,000 members is a fairly small group. Mine has about 13,000, and I am a member of some that have nearly 30,000.

Welcome to TGO!
-
Become a TGO Benefactor. All the cool kids are doing it.
-
Many of the groups already have several thousand members. Also, current members can add new members. They seem to thrive.
-
Hey Richard, this is your dad...
-
The group is set to "secret", so the link won't appear for non-members.

I've had a firearms related classifieds Facebook group for a few years, and I'm an Admin on countless others. While you're probably much less likely to encounter an issue with a TGO member, I haven't had any issues during my many Facebook transactions. Unless you're a big dummy, you can generally get a pretty good idea of who you're dealing with. It doesn't take much to spot a bogus Facebook account from a mile away. Facebook has a few advantages over sites like Armslist and GOC. Not only can quickly reach far more potential customers, you can also communicate much more efficiently in the thread or via PM, when compared to email. When communicating via email, you have even less of an idea of who you're really talking to than if you have a Facebook profile to browse through. It sucks, but it's there house, their rules.

7-year-old accidentally shot, killed in Crossville.
TripleDigitRide replied to FortKnox's topic in General Chat
Owning a firearm is a responsibly that should be taken very seriously. If you're stupid enough to leave a loaded firearm accessible to children, you should go to prison for a very long time when something like this happens. There is absolutely no excuse for something like this to ever happen. None. -
Anyone else use these trigger guard holster thingamajigs?
TripleDigitRide replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
Yes, it's mine. I recently bought my very first Glocks; a Gen 4 G19 and G26. Both have the Nib-One NiB slides. -

After reading Parrothead's question, I think I may have misunderstood your question. See my response to his question. ;) -

No clip. They aren't really made to "wear". They are great for those times when you want to throw a gun in your jacket pocket while walking the dog. I keep my gun in my lunchbox while at work, and there's not enough room for a regular holster. -

Are you asking if the trigger guard holster thingamajig moves around? None at all. It's a very snug fit. It's not going anywhere. -
Some people just don't know how to navigate on the snow and ice. I'm not saying that's a good thing or a bad thing, but those people should not leave the house when there's snow and ice on the ground. That is, unless you have a $500 beater to practice in. I drove all over Springfield, White House, Goodlettsville, and Hendersonville this weekend in a two-wheel drive truck and a little two-wheel drive Nissan Versa. I had zero issues. As 10-Ring said, take your time and constantly asses the situation.

I just wanted to let everyone know that PSA gave me a credit of $60 to make up for the price change.
-
Man, that sucks. Keep an eye on the fumes from your temporary heat sources.

That sure does look like the buttplate rod and frame buttplate screw for the Enfield. -
The Ruger American Pistol still sucks. [emoji14]

Don't risk it; avoid buying where background checks are required. -
My boss is awesome. He did make that exact offer, but I wouldn't take him up on it. This is on PSA (if anyone), not him.
-
No doubt. Ah, it's not the end of the world. I was already very happy with the original deal.

I'm a little frustrated with PSA, and there's no better place to vent. ;) I received a Show Show Deals email from PSA on the 19th. They had AR-15 upper halves (no BCG or charging handle) for $249, so I bought two of them, along with two BCG's. On the 21st, less than 48-hours later, I received the very same Shot Show Deals email, with the very same upper halves, but they were now $30 cheaper. I was like WTF!?!? I immediately got on the phone with PSA to see if receive some sort of credit, considering I had just paid $60 more for the same "deal" less than 48-hours earlier. The PSA rep informed me that they couldn't issue a refund or credit because the purchase was made more than 24-hours after they emailed the lower price. I wasn't very happy, but they weren't obligated to issue a refund or credit. As soon as I hung up with PSA, I told my boss to contact them about getting a credit or refund on the two uppers halves that he ordered. He informed me that his purchase was made 30-something-hours ago, but he would give PSA a call and give it a shot. Ten minutes after I hung up with PSA, he was on the phone with them. Even though he was well over the 24-hour limit, they issued him a $60 refund. Again, I was like WTF!?!? Obviously the 24-hour rule applies to some customers, but not the others. :rant over:
