  1. Huh? Do not understand as he had the paperwork... I dunno. Unless they are interpreting the laws differently than I am, I suspect LE and the judge are in "get even" mode at this point.
  2. They are just south of Old Hickory Blvd, on the east side of the road.
  3. I would suggest a quality grain-free dog food. After he's taken to the vet for a check-up, of course. We prefer fish based dog foods. I'm sure he'll be just fine.
  4. Sorry about the cat. Thank you for choosing to rescue your newest member of the family. I wish more people would also choose that route. Keep us posted on his progress.
  5. The latest 1:09 long video is somewhat entertaining. It does contain quite a bit more interaction with LE that the first two videos did not. According to him, they strip searched him (prior to the official strip search), hoping to find the key that belonged too the lock. Once they determined he did not have a key, the judge allowed LE to cut the lock/case in order to determine if it was loaded. That's when they found the paperwork for the supressor. He was then charged with being in possession of an illegal supressor. In case you're wondering, he has feet in his shoes.
  6. It was obviously satire. :shhh:
  7. That's kind of what I thought, but all the EMTs who work out of a building next to my place of employment have convinced me that they are legally allowed to carry them, and do.
  8. Long live Zimmerman!
  9. It's perfectly legal to own for "collectible" purposes, just not to carry.
  10. Unless you are LEO, EMT, military, etc., automatic knives are NOT legal to carry in the state of TN.
  11. I've always found Phill (owner of Bellshire's Hardware) to be very fair. They usually seem to be some of the cheapest, as far as local shops are concerned.
  12. Giving Lenny's actions any credibility is just plain silly. They are not going to go into the deep study in case law for this whack job, and Lenny doesn't have the resources to push it. It's obvious to anybody with a brain. Now... watch what happens. Yeah, representing himself has been his biggest mistake, in my humble opinion. That does show a touch of narcissism.
  13. They claim that the case wasn't locked, but it had a lock which prevented them from being able to fully inspect the weapon.
  14. Threatening somebody with a weapon is aggravated assault. That's how I view Lenny's actions, no matter how skilled he is at working the law to get away with it. I write my legislators, support the NRA, and other truly lawful things to fight the anti's. I'm not going to threaten them with an AR. I was raised better. Mikey, Mikey, Mikey! Legally carrying a gun is now aggravated assault? What size does the gun have to be before OCing becomes aggravated assault? I'm pretty sure I've seen a guy or two packing dual wheel guns with barrels the size of an average AR. Seriously though, We have to be very careful here. While I have never openly carried an AR, nor do I plan on it, but I don't was anyone telling me that I can only carry a gun fits within their size limits.
  15. As a teenager, I drove a snow plow in the winter, and cruised around on a Skag mower during the rest of the year. As an adult, I worked for my Father at his moving company. When he decided to sell, I went to work for one of the major Van Lines. I also repaired and re-lined chimneys during this time. I then decided to obtain my CDL and become the awesome steering wheel holder I am today. I spent the first year or so driving over the road, but I've been local with my current company for the last 10 1/2 years. If this is what I have to do, there's no other company I'd rather work for.
  16. I understand the anger and frustration towards Leonard, but I'm slightly perplexed by the desire for physical violence and death. He's one guy doing something that many obviously consider stupid and possibly threatening to our already eroding 2A rights, and some feel the solution is violence. On the other hand, when those who truly hold the fate of our 2A rights in the palm of their hands make a serious and in-our-face play to further erode said rights, you answer by stocking up on .22 LR.
  17. That video is titled "part II". Where's part 1?
  18. If that were the case, who's to say that someone OCing his or her 1911 through Wal-Mart couldn't be considered the same thing. While carrying an AR and wearing a bullet proof vest is much less common, It's a very slippery slope.
  19. You can have your very own for $500. BTW, he is quoted at the Examiner as saying that he did in fact have the suppressor paperwork in the case. http://www.examiner.com/article/controversial-gun-activist-arrested-with-silencer So he was detained by 10-15 LEOs at least several minutes prior to being detained for a second time? I'd be interested in hearing more about the initial encounter where it appears he was allowed to go about his business.
  20. That is the only problem I have with his tactics. I think he should have answered their questions an went about his business. The police appeared to be doing their job in a relaxed and polite manner, so I don't think there was a need for Leo to be so argumentative.
  21. Welcome! Enjoy your stay!
  22. Rabbi is the only other one that comes to mind.
  23. Does anyone know what type of literature it was that he was handing out?
  24. Thank you. I'll look into them. Does anyone have any idea what the going rates are for such a service?
