  1. That picture is one I found online. My screen looks the same, but doesn't have that option.
  2. I don't see that option.
  3. This is what I get when I do that,
  4. I have it set to boot the DVD first. DO I need to go back in and change that?
  5. You're starting to lose me. From the screen pictured above, what do I need to do?
  6. I'm thinking I tried that. After that, it would boot the MSI screen, and as soon as windows would try to boot, it would go straight to the Windows Error Recovery Screen. Then I clicked "Start Windows Normally". Then "Starting Windows" and the colored balls popped up for a second. Then it took me back to the Windows Error Recovery Screen. That's all it will do.
  7. He gave me two disks. One is labeled MSI Firmware & Software, and the other is .Net Framework Download Manager. Not sure if that helps.
  8. That is what I want. But how do I do it?
  9. I'm going to make this as to the point as possible. Started with a factory HP desktop with windows 7. Decided to up grade. Only things (as far as I know) that's still factory are the DVD player and hard drive. New motherboard is MSI. A fellow TGOer hooked me up with a great deal on upgrading my PC, but it didn't take me long to royally screw it up. I got home and began messing with it, but noticed an issue with downloading Google Chrome. Was receiving an error message that mentioned something about my profile not being able to be opened correctly. My first mistake was trying to fix this issue. I watched some YouTube videos about this issue, then began following the directions to the best of my less than stellar ability. This is where things get even worse. I began making changes to things that I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have. The next few hours was a blur. Now for the biggest mistake. I decided that I'd just try to use the System Image disks (7 of them) that I created when first purchasing the PC a few years ago. I think I killed it. Upon rebooting, I get the MSI screen, but Windows will not boot. The "system" decided to take a shot at fixing itself, followed by an attempted factory system image. Doesn't appear said system is much smarter than myself. I then decided to run the Windows 7 Update disk, but how am I supposed to do that if Windows won't boot? I was able to Google some info, and was told to set it up so that the DVD drive would boot first. As you can see from the picture below, I got that far, but now I am stuck. I don't know what to do next. I want to start over from as close to factory (Windows 7) as possible. There's nothing on here that I need saving, so I basically want everything to be wiped clean. I have never done this, so I need advice that includes step-by-step instructions. The Windows 7 Update disk is in, and this is what my screen looks like.
  10. So would the consumer.
  11. There isn't another forum with as many great members as TGO, in my opinion.   And as far as my advice for your brother goes, it was my pleasure. But when it's all said and done, I owe you big time for all the help you've given me in the last week or so. Big time.   Feel free to give your brother my number, and I'll be glad to help him in any way I can.
  12. Connex 4600 Turbo.
  13. Wal-Mart will put the fear of God into every single employee. Wal-Mart takes the threat of a possible union very seriously, and they won't hesitate to make your time of employment as miserable as possible, if not simply fire you a** for allowing the word the come out yo' mouf.
  14. I raced cars in a "spectator" class, back in the day. At the time, I was one of the very few to break the 100 mph mark in our class. One of my friends/pit crew members said something about it being a triple digit ride. It kinda stuck. The term is also used in the trucking industry. Sadly, I am not fortunate enough to drive a truck that can break the 71 mph barrier, much less hit the triple digits.
  15. Congrats!

  17. The .gov needs to open sweat shops right here in the U.S. They would be great places for those on welfare who claim they can't find work.
  18. I was raised on Giordano's, and I have the waist line to prove it. The food is the only thing I miss about Chicago.
  19. Smooth sailing so far. No traffic at this time of the mornin'.
  20. [quote name="tdoccrossvilletn" post="1024216" timestamp="1377903393"]On a side note why in the world are you going to Dayton OP? Especially down town. There is nothing good there. I am going to pick up something from a fellow TGOer in the morning. Thanks for the tip, fellas. I wouldn't have considered that route. We'll give that route a shot.
  21. I'm looking for the fastest, not necessarily the shortest in distance. Google Maps is giving me to options, both almost exactly the same amount of time and mileage. One is going through the Cookeville/Crossville areas, and the other route is going through McMinville. Is it faster to use secondary roads on those routes, rather that taking the I-24 into the Choo-Choo, then north to Dayton?
  22. I wish I had so many guns that I couldn't remember where they were at all times. Maybe one day...
  23. So says the guys walking around with a defective Smith & Wesson.  :yuck:
  24. Didn't realize someone already posted. My bad.
  25. Or on the receiving end of the ammo bill.
