1. He said AR, not AK.
2. Here's a good link. http://www.itstactical.com/warcom/firearms/diy-ar-15-build-introduction-parts-and-tools-required/
3. What you will be getting IS a stripped upper.
4. I would buy it if: 1) I could get it for about $300 2) It had the original grips 3) The original grips are in extremely good condition, so I could sell them and make a good chunk of my money back. Any one the three don't pan out, I'm not interested. But that's just me.
5. We are surrounded by stupid.
6. Sadly, a person's right not to feel uncomfortable trumps your second amendment right every time.
7. It will likely have to go back to the manufacturer. Dealer isn't likely to do much more than tell you the same thing.
8. As we discussed during our recent transaction, I am beginning to agree. I, for the life of me, can't believe how stupid Zimmerman has been since the trial has ended.
9. Have you thought about trying Epifanes? It's not cheap, but it's made to stand up to the elements.
10.
Yeah, I figured the staircase would be expensive......and at the usual 15 steps, that is big chunk of change right there. The carpeting upstairs is starting to look bad, and will need replacement soon. So I would just as soon put down hardwood than re-carpet the floor. I am just afraid that I will run into the same problem about matching the existing hardwood. I chose the flooring from the builder's samples, so I have no idea of the manufacturer or item#. I does look similar in color and grain to the pictures you posted.
The thing is, even if you do know the brand and item number, there's no guarantee it will be an exact match. Not only is your existing wood "used", there can also be some shade variations during the manufacturing process. We've had customers return wood flooring because half of what they purchased was manufactured one day, and the other half was manufactured a week later, having a slightly different shade. Most flooring stores can give/get you some samples to take home and get the closest match. Most hardwood flooring is going to be red or white oak. While they do also use hickory, maple, etc., most average builders will use oak because it's generally cheaper. The pictures I posted are oak.
11. The stair are going to be the expensive part. I got a quote on the stairs leading into the bonus room, and I was told it would be roughly $100-$150 per stair. I don't recall if that was including materials or not.
12. I got that flooring for so cheap, I was able to pay someone to install it for me.
13. I am not sure how long it has been discontinued. What I would do (and I will continue to do some digging for you) is call some flooring stores in your area and find out if they sell or can get that brand. They can contact their distributors (we'll likely be one of them) to see if they happen to have any sitting around. I know we have some stuff in our warehouse that's been discontinued for some time.
14. If you want a basic model, just buy one. If you really want to know how to put one together, just take it apart and put it back together.
15. Yeah, I don't listen to much more than Howard and a few music channels. I attempted listening to some of the news channels, but the commercials were as bad as terrestrial radio and TV. They do need an À la carte option.
16. I used cabin/tavern grade 3/4"x3 1/4" butterscotch in my house. Being the cabin/tavern grade, there are a lots of shade/color variations. I think it looks good. Gives it some character.
17. You only need 1/2 box?
18. I use TuneIn a lot. iHeartRadio is another good one. I keep SiriusXM in my work truck so I can listen to Howard. Plus, I'm often in the middle of nowhere, where decent terrestrial radio stations are lacking. That, and I hate 15 minutes of commercials for every 3 minutes of content.
19. Depending on your situation, you may be able to get away with a color that's similar to the Java. We couldn't afford to do our entire house at once, so when we started installing wood flooring in our house, we did the kitchen, living room and dining room at the same time, in the same color. That way, when we decide to do the 3 bedrooms, we can go with another color, if need be. I've seen that done a lot, and it looks just fine.   If the living room and dining room weren't the same color, that would be a big problem. They are next to each other, and the opening is 10'-12' wide, so it would have looked goofy.
20. Sadly, that wood has been discontinued.
21.
What are all you guys doing that warrants the effort to disable, cover, dismantle your devices? I guess I'm boring as there is nothing anyone would want to see about my daily life. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Just your typical amateur-biracial-gay-granny-midget-tranny porn on Tube Galore. Nothing to hide here.
22. Does it look like the bottom-right sample? http://www.armstrong.com/flooring/site-search.asp?q=java
23. There's usually 2 1/4" (strip), 3 1/4" (plank) , 5" (wide plank)
