I'm definitely doing a 300 BLK pistol, but I will likely also pick up a pistol length 5.56 barrel, gas block and flash hider, too. 300 BLK isn't the cheapest thing to shoot, so I'd like the ability to make a fairly quick swap, if needed.

Yep. Same magazines, same "guts", same upper receiver, etc.

Other than the barrel and flash hider, everything else is the same.

How 'bout we don't push any religion in schools? That would be too easy, I suppose.  I'll be the first to admit that I can't remember everything I was taught in school, but other than "one Nation under God", I don't recall religion being involved.

The recoil is not bad at all. Unlike the .223/5.56, you know your shooting something, but not bad. As far as I know, other than the barrel and ammo, everything else isbthe same, even the magazines.

Yes, .458 will work. I would love to have one, but not being a reloader is going to be bad enough with a 300 BLK. I'd never be able to afford to shoot the 458.

I thought the 4473 lists receivers as "other." They are neither pistols nor rifles. is that not correct?

Metallica is my favorite band of all time, so this isn't an easy choice. At this very second, I'd say: Favorite album - Ride the lightning Favorite song - For whom the bell tolls   That could change at any given moment. Mood depending.

A couple of the guys from the Howard Stern show were invited to a sneak preview, and they said the camera positioning and 3D work was amazing. Of course, they were talking about the "concert portions" of the show. They didn't get much into the entire plot.

Just purchased my tickets. You can pick your seats, and I think I got the best seats in the house.  :rock:

For the record, I've built a couple without all those tools. The link was to give you a general idea. There are a ton of videos on YouTube, showing and explaining how to build an AR. That's what I used as a guide to build mine. I watched several, until I found one that had good camera skills and did a good job of explaining the process. I would suggest you watch some. Once you get all the parts laid out in front of you, it can be a little intimidating. It's not very difficult. Just take your time. Word of caution: be very careful with the tiny springs. They've been known to shoot across the room, never to be found again.
