1. Tonight's the night. Anyone else going?
2. Washington? No. Truckers? Yes.
3. Like many others, the trucking industry — which I am part of — has long been going to hell in a handbasket. I would love nothing more than to get out of this business, but finding a job paying similar wages isn't likely going to be an easy task. Anyone willing to train, hit me up.
4. I checked with my local store. It appears we live in the wrong part of Tennessee. It can be purchased in Knoxville, Memphis, Chattanooga, but not in Nashville. WTF is up with that?
5. No problem. You should be able to match at least one of those to your model, or even the part number from the current power supply.
6. This appears to be for the slim models.   http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Dell-Inspiron-Identical-Compatible/dp/B002WPSS28/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt/177-7254657-4951818   or these: http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Dell-Inspiron-Identical-Compatible/sim/B002WPSS28/2
7. I don't know much about computers in general, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could buy a new case (empty tower) for $30-$50 and swap the innards from your current PC to the new case. Then you could buy a new power supply.
8. I've seen more loyalty among a group of middle school girls.
9. I've tried to price check these on a few online resources, but the prices seem to be all over the road. They aren't perfect, but they appear to be in pretty good shape. No idea of the age. I want to sell or trade these, but I don't want to price them at a price that looks like I'm trying to rip anyone off. Any rough ideas?
10. I wouldn't argue against that suggestion.
11. I would love to, but not sure I can pull it off with the TGO upper and lowers right around the corner. Hmmm....
12. I've had the same issue for several years. I couldn't afford to be off work for 6-8 weeks, so I got Cortisone shots; three shots, six months apart. I also started buying better footware with better support. I haven't had any issue in a long time. Losing weight has also helped.
13. Awesome interview on Howard Stern's show today. They performed three songs. Amazing.
14. SCORE!
15.
Yep, got the very same letter. I believe they are falling inline with other homeowner insurers. Tennessee Farm Bureau is a reputable company in my opinion. In addition, two or three years ago they dropped my earthquake rider policy and no longer insure for earthquakes. Living almost smack dab on top of the New Madrid fault line, I feel it's prudent to have coverage since the odd's of a big shaker are increasing. Funny thing is... To my knowledge, no American insurance company insures for earthquakes any longer. I had to insure with a foreign insurance company reinsured by Lloyd's of London?
Lloyds of London is a very common insurer within the trucking industry.
16. I believe they base it on the quality (10 year, 20 year, etc.) of the shingle. They claim the professionals can tell ny simply looking at the shingles.
17. I do appreciate the offer, fellas. I'm sure I'll need one for something else along the way. Until buying this house last year, my adult life has been spent living in apartments and condos. They were responsible for fixing everything, and they didn't allow tenants to work on their vehicles on premises, so I never had much need for more than a few basic hand tools. Since buying the house, I've built a work bench, bought a decent tool box, and have begun the process of accumulating the tools that every man should own. Sadly, my garage isn't as big as Harbor Freight. :D
18. Looks like I'm gonna have to invest in a torque wrench. I've put together a few lowers, but never an upper. That should change with the purchase of the TGO upper and lower.
19. For similar reasons, I often wondered if anyone complains about CHMR. Based on Google Map images, it seems CHMR has more neighbors within close proximity than this range in Sparta.
20. What he said. Other than the name, that place is nothing like what made it famous.
21. If I remember correctly, the diamond on the grips date it to <1968.
22. Is the model number not inside the cylinder?
23. I guess I need to get a roofer out here to tell me what quality of shingles I have and how much it would cost to replace the roof. This sounds like something that I'll need to plan ahead. It seems the deductible plus out of pocket expenses for shingles would be fairly substantial.
24. According to what I've been reading, due to the sever tornadoes, hail storms and floods in recent years, Farm Bureau has been paying out more money than they've brought in since 2008. I'm not sure how that compares to other insurance companies.
25. I was wondering if other insurance companies have made similar changes.    Farm Bureau sent me a letter to inform me that they have made changes to their coverage for replacing roofs has changed. Much like automobile insurance takes into account the actual cash value (deprecation), it appears Farm Bureau is doing the same thing where roof replacement is concerned. It appears they will still cover 100% of the labor costs, but are prorating the roofing materials. They will now be paying anywhere from 25% to 100%, depending on the age and type (quality) of the existing roofing materials.   I am somewhat new to this whole homeowner thing, but I suspect builders don't worry about using top quality shingles. In return, this means higher out out expenses for the homeowner, in the event you need to file a claim for a damaged roof.   Anyone else receiving similar letters from other insurance companies?
