  1. Problem is...   Citizens with TGO members views would be weeded out by the prosecutor during the potential jury selection process. Talking to people I've come to the conclusion maybe only 1 in 30 have even heard the term "jury nullification" much less know its meaning.   How many of you have ever had jury duty and the judge told you the actual power a jury has and your options and rights as a juror?
  2. So.... From the posts above, it's not uncommon to see groups of 30-50 turkey's? Think it's an annual thing or what?
  3. A month or so ago the wife & I seen a gaggle of at least 50 in the field across our road. A few days before that we had 30+ in our back field. Prior to this had never seen so many in a group at one time, is that normal?   Here lately been seeing a pair of hens in the farm field about every other day. Strange, because at times I'll go months without seeing any at all.   Never turkey hunted but, starting to get an itch to try it.
  4. Another attribute of my favorite beverage that's appreciated and seldom discussed between spouses... Me & her at least.   I can eat all the steak, lobster, bacon and eggs I want to, and my spouse stays the same, however...   The more beer I drink, the better she starts to look! I always have twice the money, twice of everything I own when I look at it directly?   AND... I have deep empathy for people that don't partake of beer because, when they get out of bed in the morning, that's the best they will feel all day long. While I on the other hand, have something to look forward too throughout the day!   Put that C02 in your beverage and drink it...
  5. You need to come to downtown Nashville and tell that to the people who used to own property where that money pit they call a convention center now sits.   Imminent domain and condemnation are all that's needed, no need for any new laws to confiscate property. The Emergency Powers Act will take care of the rest.   Another thought... Wealth and property are not destroyed, they are simply transferred to someone else over time. One of the best and least noticed mechanisms for this gradual transfer is inflation and taxes. Think about that for a moment if you will.
  6. Gots me one too!   If this were also sold as a sew on patch, sure would look good on my range bag!
  7.     You bet ya! To my knowledge, most employee payrolls and all government checks are electronically deposited now so you also lost that much more control of your finances. What a convenient way to save a few bucks!   You are required to pay your yearly taxes in full by law by a certain date. What Constitutional law requires with holding of taxes every pay check? Try to get your with holdings dropped and pay it all lump sum when due.   Also, check out who actually owns what's in your bank safety deposit boxes during a national emergency! Think I'm kidding?   Disclaimer: I prefer Reynolds Wrap 3:1 over the other the leading brands for my head wear.
  8. That's scary! Maybe Nat Geo will eventually have a program on "Kentucky Lake's Bermuda Triangle" where below now resides from my major boating accident?
  9. The FDA needs to recognise "beer" as one of the five major food groups. There should be no taxes on food.   The wife without fail always mentions her ole factory senses and tear ducts when I over support the industry.   What other food group keeps your urinary tract spic n span?   I like beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow, I like beer...
  10. To uphold, defend and regulate the Constitution of the United States. Yes siree!   The 2nd Amendment seems to have become a "hate crime"?
  11.   Next thing you know, they will lower test / exam scores for employment and do anyway with math because it's racially bias?
  12. I'm surprised no one has brought up the the linage and prophesy of the last Pope.
  13. Had I not read it, I would not have believed it! Good one for April 1st coming up?
  14. Another thing I've noticed about actors who make it big on screen and in Hollywood. Now don't get me wrong here because I like a good movie and TV, but...   It seems 90% of actors, directors and producers eventually and habitually get into drugs, in legal trouble, married & divorced multiple times, have mental issues, take medications to control this and that, write a book about their problems, appear on the circuit to blab their problems, turn liberal and support and lend their name to anti-American organizations, use guns and violence in their movies / shows and turn around and denounce 2nd Amendment rights? Then prop themselves up during interviews with Jay and Oprah, etc. like their liberal opinion means something to me?   In this day and age, your youngsters are listening to them with ears wide open and worshipping them and accepting every word out of their liberal mouths as gospel.   What attracts someone to pretend to be someone they're not? Is it the "arts" and do they themselves even know who they are?   Got off topic, sorry!
  15. In this moment in history, without going into any details or historical prophesy or predictions, does this new Pope require any special attention?   Just wanting to know if I'm the only one paying this Pope particular attention and interest?   Not making any accusations  or predictions, just looking at it from a prophetic point of view. Anyone awake and paying attention to current events?
  16. I own 1911 Kimbers myself but...   I hear Springfield Loaded 1911's and S&W 1911's are excellent pistols 1911's. The Remington R-1 gets good reviews also. Myself, I'm left-handed and need an ambidextrous safety so some of them are out for me.
  17. Off topic but... I'm becoming like my wife getting hooked on "soap opera's".   Now I'm hooked on "The Americans", "walking Dead" and "Justified" and trying to get caught up and figure what's going on?   Got so frustrated with "Son's of Anarchy" trying to figure out the history, went out to Wally World and bought season 1-4 on DVD. FX and AMC are getting some good programing!   Next thing I know, I'll be spending big bucks for pay per view UFC fights and won't have enough funds left to purchase the expensive ammo I need when I can find it? Yep, this shortage of everything gun related is driving me to the TV
  18. I've been wondering and maybe someone can explain it to me.   I'm a fan of "The Walking Dead" and "Son's of Anarchy". Many of the main characters and cast are Brits. During interviews they all have heavy British accents, so heavy I have a hard time understanding them?   In their roles, they have no trace of an accent what-so-ever? So, how can they do it? Being a transplant to Tennessee from the North, I can't fake a Tennessee accent if I tried, much less switch back and forth. And...   Why can't they talk in Americanese when they are talking on an American show, to American people so we can better understand them? I don't fully comprehend E=MC2 or the above? Might it be like learning a foreign language?   Just curious on your thoughts?
  19.   It matters if you're charged with a crime or not and face a jury in court.
  20. I know what you mean! But, it's the most effective organization we have to represent our interests. They're not perfect so I just grin and bear it.
  21.   Yep, they were not even a year old yet, I lucked out, sort of? Prior to those new ones, it was those fire hazard ones from WWII or the metal quonset huts you were assigned.   My basic training was in December - January (dead of winter) and bad cases of spinal meningitis were epidemic. We has to keep both windows open "exactly" six inches for ventilation, use three of our TA-50 pup tent poles and our second green wool blanket as a cough / sneeze barrier around our bunk. Now that I think about it, it sometimes really got cold in the room with only one wool blanket.   Reminds me of the first time I prank-ed my room mate short sheeting his bunk and standing out in formation in the 8 degree weather watching it rain mattresses out the windows :usa:   But those are stories best told over a beer at the VFW hall
  22. Like my Pro Raptor myself, great shooter. Had it four years and the factory tritium sights have burned out and not good day time target sights for these aged eyes. Ordered a set of Trijicon HD sights yesterday, green front & yellow rear with a 1-2 month back order. A week ago everyone had a few of these in stock but I wanted to check around and see if they were worth the $140.00. In one week they went from available and in-stock to a 1-2 month back order? This going down hill shortage is now including sights? What sights do you guys use on your Kimbers for CCW and IDPA / competition shooting?
  23. That was painless. No straight across the board.
