  1.   So, I take it you don't adhere with Queen Hillary, "It takes a village"?    If someone would have told America just one generation ago how it is today with federal government intrusion and people control, you'd be labeled a radical and isolated to the funny farm. What's happening hipower!
  2. Of all the reprehensible human beings in American history since 1776, Hanoi Jane ranks in the top ten in my book. Along with the Rosenthals, Benedict Arnold and Roseanne Barr singing the National Anthem.   Few people in American history openly aided the enemy, legally committed the act of treason, retained her American citizenship, slapped all patriotic Americans in the face, became rich in America, has no remorse or morals what-so-ever and still has the gull to put that wrinkled old face and saggy bosoms in front of a camera.   As Ted Turner showed her the door, she must be rotten to the core.
  3. I don't know what happened to him. I use to listen to him a long time ago and he was a staunch supporter of the Constitution.   Now he's changed his philosophy and views and became a "middle of the roader". And we all know what's in the middle of the road, yellow stripes and dead skunks.   BTW. Haven't listened to Rush Limbaugh in a long time either. Has he chimed in on gun control issues on his program?
  4.   IMHO, this is the best course of action. Throughout history, be it political, financial or infrastructure, it's much easier and more efficient to take something over and rebuild it, rather than destroying it and starting something over from scratch again.   I don't see any viable threat to the established two party system as that's where all election campaign money flows.   Liberals tend to stick together and vote Democrap and those offering more out of the public treasury. Conservatives (working values driven people) tend to split based on degree of conservatism and other values and split their votes between Republican, Independent, Green, Constitutional, etc.   IMO, this is the reason the Democraps have such a strangle hold today? A house divided (conservatives) can not stand.
  5.   This is the response I received from Lamar yesterday and Corkers response was basically the same. I'm not very fond of liar's and traitors. I'll bet y'all got the same cover letter? While reading it, I thought it was going to conclude, "give me liberty or give me death" and signed Benedict Arnold...   April 10, 2013     Mr. Dennis xxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx   Dear Dennis,   Thanks very much for getting in touch with me and letting me know what’s on your mind regarding the right to bear arms.   I’m a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights. Congress should not pass laws that take away these rights from law abiding citizens and leave criminals to terrorize the streets. Good citizens don’t abuse guns – criminals do. I will continue to support legislative efforts to protect the Second Amendment rights of law abiding Americans, and oppose efforts to overturn the Second Amendment.   In two recent cases, the U.S. Supreme Court clearly held that the Second Amendment protects the right of individual Americans to keep and bear arms. In the 2008 case, D.C. v. Heller, the Supreme Court held that D.C.’s restrictive gun laws violated the constitutional rights of Americans. Two years later, in McDonald v. Chicago, the court struck down the city of Chicago’s handgun ban and held that, like the federal government, state and local governments must respect Second Amendment rights. I joined legal briefs in both cases in defense of this constitutional right and was pleased with the Supreme Court’s decisions.   I am grateful you took the time to let me know where you stand. I’ll be sure to keep your comments in mind as Second Amendment rights are discussed and debated in Washington and in Tennessee.   Sincerely, Lamar
  6.   Evidently you're not a seasoned "carpenter bee hunter"? Badminton rackets are only good for a hundred or so kills before the string webbing starts to unravel. After 100 swats, I'm just getting warmed up for the population in my pole barn so I need some "serious medicine", a tennis racket      Better check the stupid Tennessee wildlife laws, as it might only be legal to hunt wasps, hornets and carpenter bees with a BB gun December - February :ugh:
  7.   My pole barn is like Swiss cheese. I upgraded my weapon of choice to a tennis racket. After I achieve 3 - love, I pounce on them! Then more times than not, a few seconds later I hear their bizzz, and up from their eternal resting place they arise. Tough to terminate little buggers.
  8. Islam is a religion of peace?   Nope, Islam is not even a religion, it's a dangerous political system. What other religion encourages and justifies killing the Saturday and Sunday people? They're not happy unless their under Sharia law and want to spread it by infiltration and population explosion, taking over countries from within. Islam is the "religion" of hate and convert or we will kill you!   Some religion!
  9.   Yep! From kindergarten till my old age, been always proud and the first to take off my hat, place my right hand over my heart and cite "The Pledge of Allegiance".   Removing prayer from public school and events makes me nauseous.
  10. Way to go. That will be a memory that lasts your daughter forever!
  11. Walk in to the Western Auto store as a twelve year old and buy a box of 50 .22LR's for twenty-five cents.   Have the postal mail delivered twice daily.   Have cold bottled milk delivered to your front door.   Picking up the phone and listening to make sure no one was on the line before you dialed.   Getting swat on the butt with the "butt board" by the principal for acting up in school.   Purple Turtles!   Six packs of tiny wax soda's with some sort of liquid in them and penny candy?   Fifty cent haircuts.   Two parent families?   Man head of household with job, wife home maker.   One car families.   All your childhood friends with manners speaking to adults with respect.   I read all that in a book somewhere?
  12.     This is why I prefer Reynolds Wrap by a margin of 3:1 over other leading brands for my headwear. I don't like people with ESP getting in my brain and stealing my intellectual property  :ugh:
  13.   Yep! Don't cut yourself on the keyboard, it only takes one little strand of DNA
  14. I noticed y'all are getting a little pudgy around the waist line.  I believe you have a little too much food and can afford to spare some. I vote myself some largess from your stockpile. You have no right to prepare and "hoard" and take away from the common good! How dare you! I want my share of what you have, and I want it now!   Give me, give me, give me! Gim mee!
  15.     As much as it pains me, I have to agree with you. Good post!
  16.   Yea, thanks I know, I'm a little late to the party but I canceled my cell phone to save a few bucks in monthly bills.
  17.   Well, after reading the preceeding, I'm more confused? In one sentence, what's your point and/ or stance?
  18.   I'll agree! But, most on this forum will argue that by a margin of 3:1, Reynolds wrap is not the choice of serious headware here and now?  :ugh:
  19.   And that's not a "moral police state" imposing their will on you? If not, I don't know what is?
  20. What a decal everyone should own, I'm proud of it! (1) It adds weight to my 880 pound safe, therefor making it more difficult to remove. (2) It shows anyone, friend or foe looking at my safe, I'm not the type to be trifled with :usa: Seriously though, this is a neat little decal and must have and supports this great website! I like it so much that, if it's not copy righted, I'm taking the wife down to the tattoo parlor tomorrow and have it tattooed to her right buttocks  Get creative on where you can display these while they last, as I have? Ifen y'all don't be hearen from me shortly, the wife seen this post....
  21. Greetings!   I had ADT at my previous residence in an urban area for quite some time. I moved here to the boonies a few years ago and entered another three year contract with ADT. I paid some additional cash to add other windows, motion detection, etc. because the basic package doesn't cover near enough security for me. I selected ADT because quite frankly, they seemed to be the only game in town, or I should say boonies.   I must say some of the above posts have valid comments. I pay $103.00 quarterly no matter how many sensors you have. They are not as good of a security company as I would desire but, better than going to bed and / or leaving your residence with nothing at all. In the roughly ten years I've had ADT, I've had three instances that triggered the alarm. Two were the activation of the smoke detector when the wife had something over flowing in the oven. Once was when the motion detector went off at 3:00 A.M.   Getting the verification call from ADT ranged from 3-12 minutes upon activation of the alarms. When my motion detector set the alarm off at 3:00 A.M. it took them about 5 minutes to call me maybe, I was under some stress and minutes seemed like hours. To make a long story short, they asked my wife if I was going to clear the basement or should they send the cops? At the time I thought that was a no brainier, send the police! Anyway...   It took the Sheriff's deputy about forty (40) minutes to arrive while I was covering the basement door with Mr. .357. Won't go into my experience with trying to exit my bedroom with my Remington 870 pump long gun and going back for my handgun to silence the alarm in the kitchen.   But anyway, it's slower than I would like and it's better than nothing. A burglar / home invader worth his salt can disable these types of systems pretty easily using only your standard hard wire phone line. IMHO, your best defense is getting those few extra precious seconds of warning to prepare. I will be getting me a barking dog in the near future too.   That's my story and I'm sticking to it
  22. Some thoughts cross my mind.   We will destroy you from with-in.  <Nikita Khrushchev>   A house divided can not stand <the Bible>   We're about there.  <Dennis1209>
  23. Well, it should be pretty obvious?   With what you mentioned, combined with the Executive Emergency Act, the flow of Executive Orders coming out of the W.H., one more liberal Supreme Court Justice on board, most states and individuals not standing up to and challenging the authority granted the Federal Government under our Constitution. The mass flow of liberals fleeing California to other states bringing along their liberal views that destroyed the state they fled from. On and on...   Surprise! We're already there my man.
  24. If the Federal Government would stick to the only powers granted it by the Constitution, and the rest being states and individual rights, problem(s) solved nationally.   If the Federal SCOTUS would stick to and hear only those issues under the Constitution and Bill of Rights granted them, more problem(s) and disputes solved nationally.   If the Federal Government would go back to the foundations of English Law which we modeled after, human God given rights, the foundational morals that separated U.S. resulting in the 1776 quest for freedom and independence, most other problems would be solved.   We are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic which we stand, one nation under the one living God, which we were founded. If God gives U.S. our rights, he will not ever take them back. If a king, politician, president, congress, etc. gives us our rights, they can be modified and / or taken back at anytime, as is occurring bit by bit from our foundation. Man is inherently hungry for power over other men. That's an indisputable historical fact no one can argue, period!   If our nation was founded and based on Biblical law and principals, English law and independence from a monarchy... Look at where we're currently at and heading toward.   Just common sense, where would the human population be as far as population, morals and disease if the world were mostly Sodomites? Next is the question of what's next, "beastiality"? There's a created plumbing difference for a good reason.   Just my biblical and historical views folks.
