You are who I think you are until you prove me wrong. Served me well for 60 years now.

Well, shot about 80 rounds at my IDPA match last Saturday with no problems. I always clean my weapons within 24 hours of shooting (long time habit now). It was nowhere as dirty as it usually is after shooting and clean up was a snap. I really like this stuff and think I'll use it on all my guns.

The Poison and the Politics of Al Sharpton

Without controversy and a stupid segment of our society, think how boring this country would be :ugh: -
Best trash your crystal ball, Tara Cards and those old chicken bones meh thinks

With an innocent verdict, my money is on several large gang infested cities having a big Barbecue, followed by roasted marshmallows. Update: Well, well, well! I knew there was a reason I don't go to Vegas or the Board Walk to play black jack. Following the trial on HLN from time to time, I was shocked and pleasantly surprised with the verdict, and no cities are trash heaps as of yet.

Be careful, my little Fat Boy weighs 880 pounds empty and many other safes are well over 1,000 pounds. Did you consider stairs, weight limitations or door jams? I had to remove a couple door jams for my safe to fit into my basement. Measure before you buy. Also, don't forget your desiccant and heater rod to make sure the inside of your safe has low humidity levels.

I can vouch for ^... Bought mine from them and completely happy with the education, price and delivery. The only negative thing was the long drive, but it was well worth it. They take the time to educate you on safes and your needs. As most safe owners will tell you, rule #1, get a bigger safe than you think you will ever need. It fill up fast with all those things you discover are valuable and can't be lost. Good Luck!

Northern Colorado to be 51st state?
Dennis1209 replied to Tedro2022's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I read a couple of articles some time ago that agrees. A mass migration has left and is leaving California because they can not scratch out a living because of taxes, restrictive laws, job loss and the economy. For some reason it appears the vast majority are migrating to Colorado bringing their liberal views with them and creating East California. One thing I've been paying attention to lately is the number of common everyday products that are restricted and can not be shipped to California? One that comes to mind is a simple Berkley water filter, I mean what the hey? -
Another example of men having "two" brains! The little brain rapidly swells and throbs and wants to visually see with blind eyes. All the while, taking over logic and reason in the pursuit of getting sick and throwing up all over the place and realizing his mistake thereafter. Yes, in this instance, brain size does matter!

The most stupid movie-firearms mistake i've ever seen.

Let's not forget who's responsible for the scientific supersonic projectiles we have today, shall we? This was before Chuck Yeager and Ella Fitzgerald broke the sound barrier mind you. Forget for a moment the Chinese who invented gunpowder, forget saltpeter and John Browning. Supersonic ballistics were discovered and practiced by, who else... The old cowboys in black & white movies and shows, such as; Roy Rogers, The Lone Ranger and dozens of other good guys wearing white hats. The .45 colt in days of old was designed to be subsonic, because the inventors were not schooled in supersonic physics at the time? Are you with me still? If you've paid close attention to the old black & white cowboy movies instead of school, you would have noticed the invention of supersonic rounds! I won't go into velocities and ballistics because it's boring and I have a 4th grade educimation, but... Today it's common knowledge the .45 Colt was subsonic, but back in the day... A man riding a horse forward at 45 miles per hour (MPH), and slinging his .45 revolver forward on horseback like a Nolan Ryan fastball at 100 M.P.H., was enough to break the sound barrier and drastically improve accuracy. To top that off... Our firearms industry has regressed with our revolvers. Back in the day with cap & ball, single action revolvers, and smoke gunpowder, they had the capacity to shoot 15, 25, 40, and even 75 rounds out of a revolver without ever reloading! So, when you think technology has improved over the years, think back to my day and the never empty revolver if you will... -
I got an awesome receipt for bread & butter pickles from a neighbor I recently made. If any interest I'll post it. I ate the neighbor lady's pickles last year and they were fantastic but, haven't tried mine yet because it calls for two weeks in the jar before they are seasoned? Going broke on vinegar and canning salt, not to mention all the expensive mustard, celery, turmeric stuff... The Internet is loaded with receipts for pickles and about everything else. With all the rain we had this year, my okra didn't come up at all, or if it did it was a couple miles away...

Not as many this year as past years by a long shot. I've done a little research on those fascinating little creatures but could not find an answer to a couple of my questions about them, maybe you guys know? I usually don't put my feeders out until about the first week of May, as it seems that's when the little critters come up here in NW Tennessee in earnest. The last few years I've noticed a number of humming birds coming and hovering where I put the feeders before I put them out for the season, as if they were here last year? Will / do humming birds come back to the same area year after year from South America / Mexico? Also, I couldn't find any information on how long they live other than it's speculated two years? If I were going for my P.H.D., I believe my Doctoral Theseus would be the study of Humming Birds... Fascinating little critters!

Well, with all this flooding and rain, I have zucchini and cucumbers coming out of my ears. I've made more bread & butter and dill pickles than I could possibly use in two life times. I hear they make wonderful Christmas stocking presents :yum: Finally as of four days ago, starting to get some vine ripened tomato's, yum yum! What a difference between them and the hot house tomato's. Tomato's not as big or plentiful as last year but, last year it was 101- 108 degrees everyday and I hear tell tomato's like the hot weather. Lima bean rows were taken over by the grass and weeds, they're being squeezed out of existence with no beans? Green beans are forming and should be ready for the first picking in about a week or two. Planted my rows two weeks apart so I wouldn't be flooded with them all at once. Bell pepper plants are very big and dark green and harvested just a few so far. Yellow sweet pepper plants are not growing much, stagnant and a puzzle? Love those sweet pepper rings on hamburgers, sandwiches and pizza but not looking good? Watermelon and cantaloupe slightly larger than softballs but, the deer will smash them just as they're getting ripe. Blackberries: Man oh man, we be haven a bumper crop quarter size ripe, juicy delicious blackberries this year. Blackberry cobbler time this week :yum: The bugs have had a field day with my cabbage, I suppose I should use some insecticide but I try to stay as organic as I can. Should be another bumper crop of peaches this year. How's your gardens fairing?

We are the world largest debtor nation. The federal government took over the public education system and standards, now we're like #17 in the world in education. America doesn't manufacturer anything anymore since NAFTA, GATT & the World Trade Organization. A 17 trillion dollars debt that's impossible to pay off. We're insolvent and bankrupt. We are losing our freedoms and being watched and monitored like never before. The dollar is about to lose it's standing as the worlds reserve currency. The majority of Americans have much more debt than savings and assets. Your mortgage is not even American owned. It was bundled and sold to foreigners and they own your home / property mortgage. A very large segment of the population expects and demands a living without production or work and getting larger everyday. Could go on and on...

You lucked out BIG TIME in a couple of ways... There's no denying this because it's a proven TV / movie fact: 100% of the time women always, and I mean "always" fall down outside when running away from danger and the monster / bad guy! Especially when it's in an old black and white movie and it was dark outside so everything was in black and white, cepten your green eyes in your case. The majority of times women are in high heels or other non running type shoes outside in the woods trying to escape the green eyed zombie monsters and fall down multiple times trying to flee, but always get caught. Sometimes it just pays not to be a female? 100% of the time when women run from the boogieman they always let out numerous high pitched loud screams. Never heard a man scream like a woman but it doesn't seem to work so I wouldn't recommend it?

Murfreesboro DUI Checkpoint Video Making its Way Across the Web
Dennis1209 replied to wewoapsiak's topic in General Chat
I like the part where the officer says, "he knows his Constitutional rights". What's the solution? I can see it both ways myself, law enforcements view and my view to be left alone without probable cause. I think we can agree the less drunk drivers on the road, the more lives saved. I think we can also agree unreasonable search and detainment is unconstitutional and wrong. Law enforcement budgets are stretched thin and they need to get the maximum bang for the buck, so direct observation of impaired individuals is inefficient. With nothing to hide, and being sober behind the wheel, I take offense being pulled over and searched, quizzed and scrutinized for no reason. In a perfect world, what's the alternative? -

Well, lately and since you asked... Has to be the DVD set of "Sons of Anarchy", season 1-4 I recently purchased and watching for the third time until we get a new season. So many Hollywood errors I don't know where to start? Jemma loading 2-4 pistols in her purse ready for action with no holsters or trigger protection, just crammed in her purse. With the exception of the actor "Kim Coats" whom is also a MMA fan, no one I've seen properly holds a revolver or pistol, including the ATF and FBI actors. You can sure tell the Hollywood liberals play acting gun play and carry. Jackson (Jacks) carries his in a crappy unsecured shoulder holster or no holster Mexican style right at his 6:00, behind his spine. On a positive note: At least I haven't witnessed 45 rounds being shot out of a 1911 .45 without reloading and 500 out of an AK-47 or MAC-10 before a magazine change. I notice these things because I take my eyes of the female candy of course  -
Hey Guys! Just dropped the big bucks and bought the Frog lube CLP value pack, with the paste and liquid. Sure smells good but... No substantial instructions were included, such as; I had previously read somewhere awhile back it's best to heat the parts before / after application? The paste went on all caked up and not sure if I applied it right? Appreciate instructions on how to properly use this stuff. I hear it's an outstanding product. Thanks y'all...

When a family accidental looses a child due to careless storage of a firearm, poison, etc. Does it really do any good to the grieving family to prosecute bad judgment? -
Didn't use to be that way!

I don't know any background of this particular psycho but, a common theme is "they couldn't, were denied or didn't get mental health services or their medications". Mental health doctors and specialists along with psychological medications are extremely expensive. Who do you believe should pay to treat the diseased gene pool, the government? But the government earns no money? As a society and an individual, is it worth it for you to get up and go to work daily to support a large and ever growing segment of our population make a living off of you and that gets the same services, cell phones, food, medical care, pampers, formula, housing, etc. for free you toil for? Yes Virginia, there is a free lunch. I don't have a solution other to revert back to the tried and true. Lobotomies, chemical castration, insane asylum's, etc. Regardless, mental incapacitation or defect is no excuse and should be no reason for special circumstances. The innocent victims suffer just the same. These mental defects are passing their genes like rabbits to the next generations.

That's cute! A couple of years ago we had a tiny fawn laying down on the side of the country road and would not move. I didn't know if it was abandoned / hurt and was a little tempted to offer it water / cows milk but didn't, and let it be. My understanding is it's best not to even approach it too close and / or leave human scent near it or the doe may abandon it. Went back to the front of the house where I had seen it a few hours later and it was gone. Might have needed a rest to regain its strength. BTW. Seen an itty bitty tiny fawn on my road a week ago. They're so cute!
