I just have to wonder - how do you people attract these nutcases? I only ask because I've personally logged in excess of 75,000 posts to various forums in the last 10+ years, doing a fair job of ticking people off across the entire country. However, I have yet to have anyone turn it into the e-stalker direction. If the info he's posting is public - it's public. The odd part is the effort you seem to have put into reverse stalking HIM. WHy exactly is that? Methinks you zigged when you should have zagged (i.e. - kept your fingers off the keyboard for that one last comment).

1. This is why I don't EVER do a deposit into an ATM. 2. You need to go into a branch and SIT DOWN with a branch manager and resolve this.

I do business with quite a few banks - both personally and for my clients. At one time or another over the last 15 years I've done business with pretty much every major bank in the Nashville metro area. IMHO - across the board, they are all about the same as far as service, screw-ups, etc. I've been using First TN personally for almost 20 years now I guess, and Suntrust for another personal account for about the last 7 or so. Been happy with both. I do think however that credit unions are the best choice overall, especially if you can get to know the people IN the local branch. Online banking is a nice convenience, but there is NOTHING that gets real problems solved faster than sitting down in a local branch. A few years back someone hacked my PayPal account and grabbed about $1600 cash out of my First TN account. I filed complaints with PayPal who was of little help in actually getting my money back in a timely manner. However - a quick trip to the local First TN branch and the branch manager had my money back to me in less than 1.5 days time - and they simply did not have to work that fast to get the cash back in my account.

At least he's into off-roading... that's got to count for something

Having just under 3 acres, I can't afford to pay someone to cut my yard

Shoot, I was even nice enough to copy it over to Word and break it into paragraphs as best as I could. Mainly - it was for my own benefit, so I could actually read the text and respond accordingly, I just thought it might helps others the way it helped me. Don't worry, I won't cry too much over it

See, now you are a liar.

Is that Alvin? He does guns, too?

Not trying to be rude, but I had to break it down a bit so I could even read the entire thing: That said, I think if you aren't man enough to stand up for yourself in court - then you need to just pay the fines and stop wasting everyone's time asking what we think you should do. Obviously - you NEED to go to court with clear facts of how the man was in error. If not - then by paying the files you are admitting you are in the wrong and the officer is right. And that's my 2 cents.

Thanks guys - every little bit helps.

Unless I missed something - the M&P was already $399 at Academy Sports in Cool Springs the last time I checked (before picking mine up off the board here)... So other than the free mags - the pricing ain't that big of a deal, IMHO.

Did I not give enough info, or what? I'd have hoped for at least a handful of letters from you guys... There is a very dangerous effort to lock us our of access and freedom one "group" at a time. When you don't recognize this and do something - even though it isn't *your* group - you will eventually wonder why nobody is there to help you when they come to take YOUR freedom and access away.

I'll make this short and sweet: The OHV (off highway vehicle) community needs your help - One of the premiere and few OHV areas in this region is about to be closed down. The Forest Service wants to close the Upper Tellico OHV area for good on April 1, 2009. They basically want to lock an entire segment of the public - OHV users - out of public land, based primarily on flawed research and their own personal desire to not put the effort into making the OHV area work. So if you could, please go to the following link and write a short letter voicing your concern over this closure. We have until the last week of this month to enter comments into the record on this process and try to stop yet another grab at our freedoms. Even if you don't use an OHV - as a citizen you should be concerned when they unfairly want to limit who can use our PUBLIC lands. You can check the talking points mentioned in the link if you want some details on what is going on, or you can ask me here and I will explain what I can further for those who are interested. All I am asking for is 5 minutes of your time to send an email to the Forest Service on behalf of myself, my family, and OHV users across the country. http://www.pirate4x4.com/letters/ I know the link says it's in NC - but it's actually on the TN/NC border. A BIG 'thank you' to each of you who decide to take just a few minutes to help us out.

I don't understand what the big deal is about having to find some high $$$$ gunsmith to assemble a gun that was originally built by a 9 year old Chinese girl?
-
Good luck finding bulk - I'm just buying any boxes I can find here and there... which ain't too many.

FYI - neither of my children can physically rack the slide on my wife's Bersa 380 - one is 7, the other is 6.

Thanks guys - I ended up turning off all ABP blocking for the site, then using "RIP" to block the banner ads and remove the Iframes. comes up clean, and back to working well

Anyone else have Adblock all of a sudden screw up viewing LSN? I can switch over to IEView, but it's a PITA. Anyone know how to change the settings in AdBlock to exempt a site (LSN)? Thanks!

Tempting... lol - far-nuff!

Woot!!! Thanks Hero Gear, thanks TGO! I'm a "hat(cap) person", so both items will be put to good use. Again - thank you!!!

That sounds like a cute little saying, but is it practical? Fred, Joe, and Mark are in a room with a shotgun. All 3 of them assume your rule, and then check the weapon to make sure it's clear and unloaded. Sam walks into the room. Is the gun now loaded? Sam might assume so, but is it Fred, Joe, and Mark's responsibility to revert back to assuming it is loaded simply because Sam walked into the room? If so - how do you even walk into or around a large gun shop with multi-wall displays, when there are - according to the rule above - literally thousands of loaded weapons pointing in all manner of directions? I think aside from simply asking that a person not point a gun at you personally, it's silly to try to take it any further than that, and definately not your place to volunteer to become their personal firearms instructor.

I always wondered why gun shops don't have a sign up above the racks and clear of people that has a small target and a "point unloaded guns here if you want to point it somewhere" text as a reminder. the counter person could then just point to the sign when a customer starts pointing elsewhere, with minimal confrontation or embarassment on the part of the customer. Sounds like a win/win to me.
