You can buy a Leapers quad rail for 59 - 79 bucks, ATI makes a carry handle for 45 I think. I would probably go with the 949 and just got with open sights, or maybe a laser. I took my scope off, because for my purpose I don't need one. I did install a laser and flashlight. If you want a scope go with the flattop for 799. There are to many options to list. That is the great thing about an AR. I am far from being an expert, I just know what I like.

I recently bought a Savage 10FP from The Gun Cabin in Brighton, TN. it was slightly used. Man what a shooter. Once I got the scope on we were shooting dime and nickel sized groups. One guy put 3 right through the same hole. I will post pics of my set-up later

I understand what you are saying, but I read up on the round before I bought the AR. The more I shoot it the more I like it. I like it so much I bought a Saiga in the same caliber. And you do have to love the price. 1080 rounds for 129.00. I am a cheapskate lol
