  8. I have never worked for a company that allows guns. Maybe a small business or privately held company, but having worked for an insurance companies as a loss control consultant, that would be a big red flag for insurance underwriting.
  9. Yes sir. Im sure it had something to do with the little car ride with Shane. Eveybody is hooking up with each other now. There was a moment when i thought Daryl and Carol was going to get it on as well in the barn.
  10. Got an email from Brownells. 10% off orders 199 and above. Not that great but helps.

  13. If you really need a "mil spec" LPK, get the Colt. I just got a DPMS kits for 80 bucks, just as good. I personally like POF lower receivers. I also like the Larue lower as well. Both are CNC machined from 7075 billet aluminum. On my next build, which will be a .308, Im going to use either POF or the larue lower. So have you never cleaned your AR before? You pretty much should know it inside and out if you have.
  14. did you guys have to wait awhile?

  18. They are Fed Lake City M855 62 gr green tips on stripper clips. 420 rounds, not 450. Picked up a can the other week from the Walmart in Franklin, TN. Had a couple in the rifle case for display and some more where they keep the rest of the ammo. After tax it was 163.00 = about $0.38/round. Not bad. I did find it here for $149.99. Free shipping. No tax. So you save about $14 bucks. Federal Lake City XM855 5.56x45mm 62 Gr. Green Tip FMJ 420 rds. w/ Ammo Can
  19. is the horsehide better than the cowhide?
  20. Anyone have one? Been thinking about getting one for my HK USP 45CT. Or the Comp Tac MTAC.
  21. I have a USP 45 CT and thinking about switching out to a LEM as well. For now, I just carry chambered, decocked, with safety off.
  22. Since you have owned a couple, I will assume that you are familiar with the ATF process for the tax stamp. For a SBR, I would recommend using a M16 BCG and a heavier buffer. I have a 7.5" SBR and I use a spikes ST-T2 heavy buffer and works very well. The BCG i used as a Young Manufacturing M16 National Match chrome. One of the best out there. I know you said you want to build one from ground up, but Im selling my complete upper on here if you're interested. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/gear-classifieds/65572-vltor-noveske-7-5-complete-upper.html
