  1. I wanted to add that the Viridian C5L does fit on the p2000sk and the rail sets that they come with work. The reason why i sanded mine down a little was to make it fit just a little bit better. They are universal rail sets and I found that it did not fit exactly the way i wanted them to.
  2. Yup. They seem to do a quality job. Right here in TN too.
  3. You will be addicted to HKs once you buy one. Hell i have one the that I've never even shot and just sits in a nice wooden box. Makes no sense:screwy:
  4. V2, LEM. I may get the V1 light LEM and try it out. I do get a full grip with the pinky guard. Feels good. I need to try out the different size backstraps to see if it makes much difference. I wouldn't consider myself someone with large hands though.
  5. Well, after selling my HK USP 45CT, and picking up the 50th Anniversary edition, I felt naked because I didn't have a shooter. My P2000sk finally came in today and picked it up from Guns for America in Nashville. I bought it used, but it is in great condition. THe only wear is on the slide release levers. I plan on getting it refinished in CPII soon so I'm not worried about it. The light is a Viridian C5L. Even though the rail adapters have been "redesigned," it still doesn't fit the P2000sk well out of the box. I had to sand the inside of the rail adapters to help accommodate the wider rail on my sk. Anyways, after about 10 min of careful sanding, got it to fit like a glove. I have to say that this little light is pretty impressive. I really like how it is flush with the slide and doesn't extend past the slide like all of the other lights out there. the profile is perfect and doesn't bulb out. Looks almost factory
  6. So i got my Viridian C5L came in today. For its size, this little thing is amazing. The green laser is incredibly bright. Even in daylight. Light is pretty bright as well. My p2000sk was supposed to be in today, but won't be in til tomorrow, so I am excited to see how it fits. The rail adapters have been redesigned on this, but its still made of plastic and looks weak. Hopefully it will hold tight. Here is a pic of it. I was trying to take pics/vid of the light and laser, but it just doesn't do it justice
  7. The P lines have picatinny. Its the USP lines that don't.
  8. I ordered a Viridian C5L for my HK P2000sk. Its the only light/laser thats out in the market right now that sits flush with then slide rather than sticking past it like the Insight, streamlight, and surefires. The problem that i see with the light is the rail mounts. It is made of plastic and is pretty small. There is a guy that got one for his p2000sk and he had problems with it holding zero and the mount holding tight. I wanted to know if there was a machinist in the nashville area that could machine a rail mount for me out of aluminum. Pretty much the same design as the existing one, but run the entire length of the rail and be made of aluminum. Anybody know a place that would take on a project like this? I know there are commercial machine shops that repair equipment and parts but this would be a small order and don't know if they would bother with something small like this
  9. i did mine myself. Went to best buy, bought quicken will maker. Super easy and cost under 50 bucks.
  10. I forgot about that movie. Thought it was pretty good. Worth renting.
  11. Sounds like fun. Wish i was closer. I need to find a place near me were i can shoot some stuff other than just paper.
  12. anybody that can harvest a deer for me, i would be interested. Send me a Pm and let me know. thanks!
  13. i wish someone was selling a p2000sk 9mm on here. Need a shooter.
  14. i liked blood diamond. Jennifer Connelly. Yes.
  15. I don't know how you can see through that being so far away. That is a very long eye relief
  16. Thanks for all the info. Never can be too safe. update: i just got a PM from the guy and unfortunately, he already sold the gun. Just forgot to update the listing. bummer! If anyone knows somebody who is selling a HK P2000sk in 9mm for like 600, let me know.
  17. I was looking for something like that. Thanks
  18. RIght. Sounds like FTF is pretty simple, but there is no way of knowing if the gun is stolen, if you are selling to a convicted felon or whoever.
  19. hipower, thanks for the info. So the bill of sale would simply for documentation so that he can't say its stolen or if the gun is ever used in a crime, there is a trail? Checking DLs to make sure the parties are 21? The guy is actually on HKPRO. Don't know if he is a member on here, but his user name on HKPRO is HKIMMYBLOOD. Im waiting to hear back from him on my PM.
  20. I didn't now they were raising redbox fees. Guess it still cheaper than what blockbuster ever was. Oh yeah, its snowing!
  21. So when i buy the gun from the guy, do i have to take it to an FFL and get it transferred to me? Or is that not necessary.
  22. I know there is probably something already out there, but I am lazy. Can someone tell me in a brief sentence or two how to do a FTF purchase on a handgun? I found a gun that I want to buy from another TN guy and wanted to know what I have to/should do. Thanks
  23. what an idiot.
  24. Alien Armaggedon on redbox. I turned it off after 10 minutes. Funny thing was that i thought i rented Aliens and Cowboys. Was in a hurry and didn't pay attention. I was reading the comments on red box and apparently quit a few other people did the same thing. There goes a 1.09 down the drain.

its good that you don't have kids to factor. That is probably the worst part.... Enjoy the freedom, go out and have some fun, get some strange, and find you another woman. There are plenty out there.
