Ya I ordered some j-hooks as well. I can make belt loops and I hooks but they are a pain in the ass to make and the polymer material holds up better than kydex for those applications.

Had some time to work on some kydex for my PM9. OD Green front panel and black back panel. Belt loops courtesy of RCS. This thing conceals great and the 15oz pistol is barely noticeable.

ya the rail on the SPR is nice.  I put the rail covers because it helps keep the gas off my hands.

  It is an LWRC, but not a "limited edition"     It is a 14.7" SPR

Just used a utility knife on this one. Took my time on it and it turned out pretty well. The tight corners were a little difficult and could have gotten a little closer in when a hotwire cutter, but honestly i don't know if it needs to be that tight of a tolerance for the application. Sure would speed things up though. Maybe the next foam i cut, i will build a hotwire cutter.

ya i've seen that thread on arfcom. I just went ahead and used a extendable blade. turned out well, but my next will i will make a hot wire cutter

if anyone around nashville has a hotwire set, please let me know. I need to cut my foam for my case. also, anybody tried a scroll saw?

So i went deer hunting for the first time on Wednesday and got me a doe. Posted pics on another thread. Well there was another part to the story. When I returned to my car, this is what i found. I was hunting on a farm and parked my vehicle on the driveway outside the fence. I had laid the rifle case on top of my trunk deck. When i returned to my car, the case was laying on the ground. I thought it was kinda strange, but thought it just may have slid off. Well after further inspection, I noticed all the scratches and marks on my vehicle. The scratches are deep, down into the bare metal and there seems to be saliva smudge marks all around the scratches and roof. The glass is even scratched! The only thing I can think is that there must have been some scent in the foam of the rifle case and thats what attracted the buck. It was a rifle that i borrowed from my brother-in-law and don't know the whole history. I didn't have any scent or anything in the vehicle. I know it wasn't a cow or horse, because they were all inside the fence. First I want to put a disclaimer out there that I am not selling insurance or an agent. I recently got insurance coverage for my firearms and accessories as my collection is slowly building. Some of you may not be aware that your basic renters or homeowners policy may not fully cover items such as your firearms, jewelry and other valuables. I would recommend talking to your agent and seeig if you are adequately covered. This time of the year they have seen an increase in claims from burglary and theft and many people have been found out the hard way that their items were not fully covered. For example my brother's home was recently broken into while out of town and they found out they most of te jewelry was not covered under ther basic policy. Adding a personal article policy and cover those valuables for a very small premium ( depending the value of items). Def something to consider as you guys grow your collection. Rember gun safes are not going to keep a determined person out. It will just delay them some.

The black LWRC with the Magwell grip isbTeds. I personally don't need or like them as I hold onto the rail.

Ya, generally, if you go on a saturday on a nice day, it will be pretty busy. The best times to go is during the week and even when it not sunny and warm. I do worry sometimes about range safety. Especially when its crowded.
