I was really hoping Dale would open up on Shane in the woods. Oh well, at least he's privy to Shane's mean streak, and seems to know the truth abouth Otis. Anyone else hoping Otis would stroll out of the woods with an obvious gunshot wound to the leg?

This show is a trainwreck. I flip it on sometimes because theres nothing better on. However, in no time flat, im pissed off at Will again for doing some stupid crap like the episode where he flew in an expert to work on his project, yet complained when the expert was teaching his employees how to do the work. Hello genius, let him teach. Next time you wont have to subcontract the work. Also his negativity towards technology irks me. And just who are these "customers" that need four MG42s on a turret? Thinking of shooting down some aircraft? Its pointless.

239 9mm is my EDC... had a 226 .40 years ago and traded it away, stupid! I will probably always buy Sig from here on out. Most fit my hands very well and shoot like no other.

I thought this was pretty cool, so you guys may enjoy it too. True story: the making of the Terminator's laser-sighted .45 pistol It's amazing how far laser and battery tech has came in such a short time.

Nice polish! What did you use to polish it with? I have an old High Point i'd like to try this on.

Are you sure the hub is installed correctly? it may be moving around when power is applied. I'm no FWD expert though...

Here's another negative review of the tuck this II. Its too thick. I ordered one with the optional retention straps, and while passable without these, its like tucking a brick inside your pants. Terrible. When you try to tuck your shirt in while wearing it, it looks like you've got a fully loaded adult diaper on. I've got a $12 uncle mike's that is 100x better and loads more comfortable.

We test drove a couple at Carmax back in the spring and we liked both of them. The limited is the one to get. Huge sunroof, backup sensors, sync, nav, etc. I really dig the new "sport" edition with body color rocker panels and fascia.

You just KNOW there will be some jab at Bush, or some scapegoat like "The chinese invaded because of global warming" or some bull like they dreamed up for Pearl Harbor. I always have hope, but then expect to be disappointed. The first movie had some seriously dark undertones that I hope can get transferred to the new one. Hollywood's current version of "dark" is someone getting chopped up a la all the saw and final destination sequels.

Well I thought it was decent seeing that I have never been through basic, and it was my first time actually trying to hit something with the iron sights.

Threat removed from me, but I am most concerned about my 2 year old, wife, and small dog more than myself. I can run inside, grab my AR or a handgun and be ready to defend in less than 30 seconds. I have a pump BB gun that I could pump a couple times and deal out some mild righteous fury. Don't worry guys, I don't go guns blazing at the first sign of trouble. I will make friends first and see how the dog reacts. He totally ignored me while I was mowing the other night. I got pretty close to the area he was chained up to, and he just glanced at me a couple times. I think he'll be ok.

Welcome Ken, I live down the road from ya.

I live in the Caryville city limits, so who knows. They'd probably cite me for discharging my weapon.

A few years ago my neighbor had some sort of German Shepherd looking dog that he says was a "police dog." The dog was always in a "kennel," but occasionally escaped because the "kennel" was essentially some chicken wire, duct tape, bubble gum, and some yarn. Let's just say it didn't contain the dog very well. One morning I'm outside letting my dog go potty (she's a 12 lb terrier mix / mutt) and then this GS clamps down on my dog's leg and throws her around like a rag doll. My adrenaline kicks in so I just start yelling and throwing what I could get my hands on at the GS and he finally runs away. I had my HCP at this time, but my gun was in the car at the time. I had words with my neighbor over this since my dog needed stitches and a new round of vaccinations. He was unemployed at the time, but swore he would pay the vet bills (he never did). So as you can understand, I am a little skittish around large breeds that have vicious streaks. I know any dog can be like this, but the large muscular ones are those that can do the serious damage. I have a 2 year old that likes to play outside so I am very cautious about any dog that roams around in my neighborhood. Fast forward to this week. The old neighbor is gone, and a new one in his place. This week he decides to get a Rottweiler, and my wife spotted him in our yard once or twice. I had to mow yesterday, but it was my first time mowing heavy. He just looked at me a few times and didn't bark, lunge, or even walk towards me, so I feel a little better about it. He is also tethered in the yard so he's not roaming free. So my question to you guys is this, what are the rules of engagement for dogs? If this dog gets on my property and makes aggressive moves towards me or anyone in my family, he's getting ventilated with some 5.56 FMJ HPs. What if he makes aggressive moves toward my dog? What if the Rotty attacks my dog on someone else's property? What options do I have, legally?

I had one of those tru glo's on my AR and I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. I took it off and used the iron sights and could group about 8 out of 10 rounds within a 10" circle at 100 yards.

You have great taste, sir. It has a build date on the box of April 09, so its a new one, and one mag. They sure are proud of their mags. I've seen most sig mags around here for about $50 each. Regardless, it's an awesome gun and I'm tickled pink with it.

So I've been on a quest for a 9mm 239. I've looked high and low, and I needed one before I go on vacation Saturday. I went to see Phantom6 in Oak Ridge. He had a 239 tactical that I could hold and see how I felt about it. Too bad it was a bit out of my price range, or I would have picked it up from him. Coal Creek was the only local Knoxville area shop with a plain jane 239, so I bought it there on Saturday. Today was the first time I was able to shoot it. I was over in west knox today for work, so using my free range pass, back to CCA I went. Let's just say it shoots every bit as good as I remember my old 226 .40 that I had a few years back. I had no trouble placing every round center of mass into the "Man with Gun" target. The full size sights were very easy to acquire and sight up with the target very quickly. Much easier than my old Bersa .380. In defense of the Bersa, it had the smoothed down sights that were not much of anything. However, I can shoot the Sig for about $.24cents per round, as opposed to $1.50 /rd in the .380. Anyways on to the pr0n...

I thought you couldn't buy handguns out of state?

What kind did you get? A co-worker and I have been riding at lunch at the greenway in Halls. He went overboard and bought bikes for his entire family (all Treks no less -- $$$). I picked up an older Raleigh from Craigslist for $100 and had it tuned up at the local bike shop. It rides good as new again.

Nicely put from both of you. I remember as a kid absolutely loving Thriller. My family was so poor my dad got a friend of his to buy me a bootleg copy (tape) at the flea-market. I begged my mom and dad to take me to the concert in Knoxville but the tickets were like $30 each, so they said no. Believe me, I'm no fan of what he did or didn't do with little kids - he was never convicted after all - but I'm not going to pass judgment on him. That's for the Lord to do.
