  1. Welcome!!
  2. I've been listening to a live feed out of California on WSMV for the last two hours.  A San Bernardo Deputy was killed. LAPD sent SWAT by helicopter to the area.  A Bearcat (?) tore down the walls. A single gunshot was heard at that time. They interviewed two residents of the area. They both said they were more afraid of the cops than Dorner.  They have let firefighters go in at this time, saying the scene is secured.  God bless the people who have been hurt by this.

  4. Maybe this will help people understand how stupid these senators are.
  5. Try these two sites.   http://www.murfreesborotn.gov/default.aspx?ekmenu=138&id=2664   http://www.rutherfordcountytn.gov/dept/landfill.htm
  6. Good post mcurrier. I've read different figures and the best I've seen is that if a person is surprised in their home by a burglar they hit about 50% of the time. There is no guaranteed  one shot stop with a handgun so you're looking at two hits with two misses, four shots per invader. Two invaders, eight shots. Three will need twelve shots. Yeah, limit me to six. NOT!

  8. I have no military experience but I understand the importance of training exercises.  As the man on the ground, the citizen, I would have to say that if I heard guns firing and military helicopters flying above my house I would step into defense mode immediately. And I would be extremely pizz't off when I found out it was a training exercise that I wasn't informed of.  Just my two sense
  9. Wow! Number one story on 5's site tonight. One round from the Barrett can take out a whole airport full of jetliners. One shot at a toxic fuel dump can affect millions of people.  Does anybody have a list of sponsors for this twisted show! They weren't showing any tonight.  I've watched channel 5 for the last time. And their internet link has been deleted from my computer.
  10. Elect stupid people, get stupid laws.
  11. Good post mcurrier. I just got this on Facebook and searched and saw you had it posted.  But I did notice in three minutes there are about three rows of chairs and about 20 people missing. Strange.
  12. Welcome. I used to live in Shelbyville. I loved the ride over the ridge on my MC.
  13. Welcome sir.
  14. What are they going to do with their old "worn out" Glocks?
  15. GREAT!!! Thank you for the link.
  16. I saw it under General Chat. Just thought it should be in Ammunition and Reloading also.  My bad.
  17. Just saw this on Guns Save Lives   http://gunssavelives.net/gear/breaking-wal-mart-suspends-ammunition-orders/
  18. Thanks bkelm18 but I'll skip the call to the ATF. I don't trust what someone tells me on the phone and I fear if I call they will waste precious time researching my Internet history which will keep them from stopping the real crimes going on out there. <sarcasm>
  19. Google Gene Rosen and watch the You Tube videos of his interviews.  He's the man who took in 6 of the children after the shooting.  He has told his story to the MSM many times and changed it every time.    Google H. Wayne Carver. . . chief ME of Connecticut and watch his press conference video on You Tube.   Sally Cox. . . school nurse, changes her story every time she tells it. Videos on You Tube.    A lot of people put out theories, Illuminati, NWO, Satanism etc. I don't care about theories.  But these three characters make me ask questions.
  20. That's what I wonder also, gregintenn and 6.8 AR.   I could see a person with a collection of 20 guns; shotguns, rifles and handguns, needing cash and listing all for sale at the same time.  Has he violated the law? If it's just a matter of intent then who determines the intent?
  21. Just saw this today. Anybody here know how many guns you can sell before it's considered a crime?     http://www.fox17.com/template/inews_wire/wires.regional.tn/39e84b06-www.fox17.com.shtml
  22. Gunssavelives has a link to the 911 call. The mother had 2 minutes and 17 seconds until she had to shoot.        http://gunssavelives.net/self-defense/chilling-911-call-from-home-invasion-in-which-mother-shot-home-invader-5-times/
  23. According to Channel 5 news "According to a spokesperson for the Tennessee Highway Patrol, however, Yeager is not a (sic)currently not a Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security certified instructor, nor is Tactical Response a department certified school." He's definitely not making any points for the 2A crowd.
  24. I've thought about this myself. The temporary loss of hearing after firing a weapon without protection. Silencer on the home protection weapon?
  25. Good video! Thanks
