I have a question for the LEO readers of this thread. Why was the shooter charged with aggravated assault? If you throw a punch at somebody that's aggravated assault. This guy fired fifteen rounds into the car, broke out lots of glass and grazed the victim's head.  Isn't that something more like attempted homicide?

Same old misinformation. CNN and AP article says the shotgun was found in the glove compartment???? WFSB out of Danbury says this " After the mass shooting had ended and officials began to investigate what happened, they searched the vehicle Lanza parked outside of the school and inside they said they found a loaded 12-guage(sic) shotgun in the passenger compartment. The weapon was then moved to the trunk and locked up by officials for safekeeping."   ?????? And then later that night they got it out of the trunk and took it to who knows where! This whole thing stinks on every front!

Whatever the truth is about the purchase I think Mark Kelly is a liar or a hypocrite. Or both. Now about this dog story, I could see him at his next press conference touting the virtues of having a dog for protection instead of a gun. "I got a Bulldog to protect my family. It's much safer than a gun." NOT Is Mark Kelly going to be the next Joe Biden?

You have some good advice already but I would add, if there's a traffic stop you probably want to show the Cop your permit. It's not the law that you have to but probably a good idea.    And have a good trip.

There were two motorcycle VS car accidents in Murfreesboro today. I think both MC riders were flown to Vandy.  Bad! Be careful out there.

Thanks Jonnin, That's a good reference. Some people don't know what "clear", "out" and calling a range "cold" mean.  I'm just thinking if I had a range, members only, I would want the rules understood and anyone who violated them would not  shoot there again. 

I've been to a few ranges and I don't recall ever seeing a list of the Range Rules posted or handed out to the shooters.  Anybody here know of a good source for the rules and etiquette of the range? I'd like to print out a few copies. 

I do this! Sometimes I send them coupons for great deals on pizza and 10% off tanning bed visits. Lots of coupons. I know they like it.
