  1. Looks like you had some fun! Nothing like a good ole .22LR!
  2. My Cousin sold a Bushmaster M4 and a case of Tulammo .223 for $3600 at the height of the panic. He paid off the rest of his car payment with the profits. He only had $1000 in the package. I am with you, Magic. If someone is willing to be stupid enough to pay 3 and 4 times the MSRP on an item, why not? Maybe they will learn not to be stupid.
  3. I had terrible luck with the Bulgarian surplus, or maybe it was the gun. Sold that M57 in a hurry
  4. I would give give $15-$18/box of 9mm right now. I have not shot my Glock 26 hardly any(80 rounds) since I got it in January, so I have saved quite a bit of ammo. I wouldn't mind paying .40/round for .45 ACP, because it was almost $20 per box for range ammo anyway before all this madness started.
  5. I mean they are available at some point most days from PSA, not necessarily for "sale" like a great deal.
  6. Yeah, I bought one from Coal Creek Armory last summer for $100 OTD. Sold it for $100 like 2 or 3 days before Newtown. Oh well!
  7. Sigh. I got one though. I read somewhere online that says they go up for sale everyday, you've just to be lucky. Guess I got lucky for once.
  8. One time I had a large plastic bag, and I used great technique in catching 5.55 brass from my buddy's AR lol.
  9. http://www.slickguns.com/product/psa-ar15-lower-120
  10. +1 for the Ruger. I am not an "AR guy" though.
  11. I don't know. I know some stores do not sell guns, but they do sell ammo. Walker Springs and Turkey Creek come to mind in Knoxville for example. Where could he be hiding it? Unless the other employees are in on it too. Not trying to start conspiracy theories, but I do not where this guy could be stashin it...
  12. Yes, I am glad too. Thanks again!
  13. I don't understand where he could hide it? To my knowledge not all Walmart stores do not have gun rooms...
  14. I will work on it lol.
  15. I don't see how he knows when it's coming in. They don't tell us anymore, or allow us to have the print out of what's coming in. Must be a manager, either way he's an asshole.
  16. I thought it was just a standard "M" model when I got it. But then right there on the side of the receiver it says MC-5D 7.62x39 Made in China by NORINCO C&A BCH, VA. I need to figure out how to post pictures on here...

    SKS MC-5D

So, I picked up a NLIB Norinco SKS MC-5D a few weeks ago. It's in really good shape, 16" chrome-lined barrel, Monte Carlo wood stock, very low round count. It also has a low serial number, #940029x. I am assuming the yr of production is 1994. It takes a little bit of practice to load correctly, and it works best when you insert the magazine while holding the bolt back. I tried some various 30 round mags, and it fed OK. The Chinese mags work 100% though (Thanks turkeydad). From what I can tell, it's a pretty rare gun. It doesn't have a cleaning rod hole in the stock, and it doesn't have a bayonet lug either. Since it takes AK mags it doesn't have a bolt hold open either, but strangely enough it has stripper clip guides notched into the top of the bolt. Does anybody here have any experiences with this particular model? Any guess on the value? It has matching numbers on every part.
  18. To be honest I thought this was going to be a FS/FT post lol.   $160 for the lot, or trade for an AR!
  19. Did they have anymore in stock? I want one, and can run by on lunch tomorrow!
  20. He should be kicked out. I would have reported him down there at the station...
  21. Also, they don't look like a turd brick...
  22. 1911s are sexy, fun to shoot, and just classic. Something about them...
