  1. TWC Bulldog here, studying history, and a fellow Athenian. Welcome to TGO.
  2. I think I'm going to get one. I only have 1 hex in my collection right now. I'll be looking for a ex-dragoon!
  3. Were the hex receivers more or $179? That wouldn't be a terrible price for a hex nowadays.
  4. And I'd start by getting rid of as many of those 4 cats as possible lol.
  5. The mustang gt from like 95 or 96 on to 04 has the same or similar tranny as your expedition. It's either the 4R70W or the 4R100. Both good trannys. Anyways, I suggest you find out what gear ratio you're running. There should be a little tag on the pumpkin with a code. You can look it up online. My grandpa has a 02 F150 4.6 2WD base model with the 3.08 gears. It's awful. You might have the same ratio. I'd throw some 3.73 or 4:10s in there. I have a 63 Chevy C10 with a 250 I6 with 4 speed granny gear and 4.11s. It pulls hard all the time, and if that weak old worn out inline 6 can do it, you're modular 4.6 can really wake up with some gears and a tune.
  6. What he said^ The m44 I have is sellin for $259 at SOG international currently. The m38s have dried up for the most part, and I would say they would draw a premium compared to the mosin m44. I have a few of each, but I bought a metric butt ton of type 53 carbines. They are my favorite! I got some of them as cheap as $99 before shipping! I highly recommend them.
  7. My first ride was a 63 C10. 11mpg is GOOD!
  8. They have always been high for some reason. I had good luck with the tapco gen 2 mini mags, but they are impossible to find right now, and have been since last fall.
  9. Maybe because most of the victims weren't Caucasian??
  10. I've never paid less than $100 for any of my mosins I currently own or have owned. I still can't justify paying that for them. Wait until Black Friday. Dicks and gander will have 91/30s for $150 or less I am sure.
  11. The cheap days of the $100 mosin are over, but $200+ OTD is crazy, even for now.
  12. That is badass. I envy you. I want both!
  13. Haha. Forget that. $179 is outrageous. I bet they still had the enfield for $800 on the rack too lol.
  14. Hey if you can get em here legally ill buy some you for $20 lol
  15. Wait it out my friend. 54r has been available throughout this whole panic, and it will be going forward. I think the price will stabilize around $90 per tin. More than it used to be, but still the best deal on ammo.
  16. 1970 mustang-my favorite
  17. Scored 3 9mm 100 packs federal at Athens store. They had 5 more, tons of 50 ct boxes and they even had some federal auto match .22
