Yep, every time I come on this site, I leave with the feeling that I need more guns and I am not ready enough. I'm thinking about getting a 6" 1911 in 10mm for the truck just in case I need some extra firepower but you guys are making me think that I need more:-) Do any of you have a secure way to lock your truck guns? I was thinking about installing a heavy duty handgun safe in my center console since there is room.

Don't sell it! That's a keeper for sure! Thanks for sharing anyway:-)

A Baby Desert Eagle? Used ones are close to your budget.

You would quickly blow your budget on ammo alone but what a ride it would be!

I spent way too much time on that site, I want that gun bad! Just carry it in the front, gangsta style

I guess it depends on your situation. Being mostly unemployed I get to sit in my sun room and surf TGO and enjoy the amazing weather (lightning storms are fun). I sold my Harley last year so I know that I would have a very different outlook if I still had a bike and worked during the week.

The breech face is probably smaller than normal 12g and the mags narrower. A conversion bolt and the ability to use Saiga12 mags would be nice. The concept is great though and I hope that it catches on so it can get more affordable, double stack mags would be easy with the new ammo. I would love to have one.

Thanks! -
He said that they still have no plans for the 2 clip style since there are so many on the market already but a spare mag holder is something that they are considering.

But your version isn't sensational and exciting. I picture it like this. NSFW, there is a bad word on this picture http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx153/romad7/bad23a169a54a3f9ce01d967b7a9bd02.jpg

First open carry at Walmart - New yearly tradition!

Two stars to the chest and a nunchuck to the head, works for me. Can someone recommend a good IWB holster for my nunchucks? ;-) -

But have you tried to take the class with Ninja weapons? I think you need to stand up for Ninja rights and go to the class dressed as a Ninja (for credibility) and have Ninja weapons ready to take the class;-) But yes, the government can be quite silly. -
I emailed him yesterday so we'll see what he says.

I've got it! Get a string (one that doesn't stretch) and a sharpie. Wrap the string around what you want to measure and mark where it overlaps. Measure the length between marks with your ruler, this is your circumference. Go to this site and enter your number to get the diameter. http://math.about.com/library/blcirclecalculator.htm

Ah, I think I confused that sticker for a Hazmat type sticker. There is a hazmat fee for powder and primers though, right? -

I think the problem is Hazmat fees and ammo is heavy. Would be nice if it was cheaper to ship though. Here's an idea, we need to start the "Shipping Costs Are Too Damn High Party!" Recruit this guy (its an old video but the first time that I watched the whole thing) http://youtu.be/x4o-TeMHys0 -
I think that I have something that might work for you. I'll check when I get to my desk PM sent

I have the pro model, it has a plastic shell with pretty good retention. Carrying a steel compact RIA 1911 is pretty comfortable. The plastic shell makes re-holstering easy and has a molded piece that hooks the trigger guard enough to hold the gun in place. Worth the extra money for me. I'm not sure that I prefer the single clip design but I haven't used many holsters and have only been carrying for a little while. Very good holster though.

I'll take it one step further with the Cabot Guns Mirror Image Pistol Set. Don't know what I would do with matching left and right hand 1911s but it would be awesome!

You would know that no one is in the house because there is no house left to hide in:-) That is one nasty weapon!

Sounds like the Apple TV is a pretty decent fit for you. The good thing is once you buy it (look for a used one for around $80) then you only pay for what you use. There aren't channels, you find what you what you want by show, genre, network, etc. There are apps like ESPN, NHL, NBA and others that may offer a way to turn on a channel and just play in the background. I haven't used those yet since I'm not a big sports fan and those usually require a small subscription fee. http://www.apple.com/appletv/whats-on/ I didn't see SPEED on the network list but the others were there. You'll have to look at what you have and want but it might be feasible to go to a cheaper TV package to get less channels for basic TV and use the Apple TV for the shows that you really watch. iTunes doesn't have everything but it has plenty for me and I don't like messing with a DVR and cheaper than paying for a lot that I don't use or even want to support with my money. Also, I travel quite a bit for work and I take my Apple TV with me and so I have all my shows with me. Some hotel network set ups make this difficult so let me know if you do decide to use it at hotels, I'll let you know what I do. Also, if you download iTunes on your computer the you can see what shows/movies are available for your Apple TV.

This is exactly why I switched from my Sat/DVR to Apple TV. I get everything that I want, I get news on my iPad and can AirPlay videos to the Apple TV. To use your Top Shot All Stars example (love the show!), it airs on Wednesday and iTunes has is waiting for me on Thursday. Better than a DVR, I don't have to remember when it's on and set it to record. No storage limitations, I was always managing my DVR so I didn't run out of space. The max shows that can be recorded on a DVR is 3-4, not an issue for me. I don't need any fancy DVR commercial skipping, there are no commercials I've come into a season of a great show, like Justified for example, and was able to go back and buy the previous seasons/shows and get caught up. My monthly average cost is still less than when I had satellite (probably by 50%) and I only pay for what I want.

Here you go, those look like at least .308 sized projectiles;-) A tank is just a big rifle, right? Anyway, this is my weapon of choice when dealing with a charging bear. http://youtu.be/Cgn1nhUEgo8
