The tool I have is really more of a button, that Vamfire looks like it'll be better for breaking the loctite hold. I read in another forum that DD uses loctite on their BBs. Thanks!

I'm thinking about putting it on the mill and boring out the bolt and replacing it with the non-communist state button and bolt that I have. I figured that this wasn't the best place to ask, being citizens of a free state and all but with all the smart guys here I figured its worth a try. I'll check the links for new info, thanks! I am so glad that I moved here...

Hi Guys, I am having trouble removing the bullet button from my Daniel Defense AR. I have tried everything even a bullet button wrench but no luck. Does anyone here have experience with this? Thanks.

I just got a good deal on a Liberty Lincoln 50 on Craig's List so there's an option.

I was told about the Walther PPS by a friend and I really like the looks of it. My first choice was a Glock 26 but after seeing the Walther, I changed my mind. It's very slim and has a good trigger.

That is a reason to get the AR to me, you don't know how much longer they will be available. Can you imagine the day when the Liberals figure out that an AR-10 is just an AR-15 but more powerful? I'm not trying to push panic buying or any of that crap but if you happen to be in the market for an "evil assault weapon" and you can find one that isn't stupidly marked up then now would be the time to get it. You can always get an M1A later but I feel that it's only going to get more difficult to get an AR. I do like the M1A a lot and would get both if I could but it comes down to what you want. They are both capable of the same accuracy so it's more of a style and "feel" preference. I am leaning toward ARs in my house these days just to keep it simple, I want my wife to be able to pick up any of my rifles and be able to use it for defense if needed. She can shoot very well but a variety of types does confuse her. Well, that was mostly on topic, "best" can be a difficult thing to figure out. Good Luck with your search!

10 rounders are great if you want to try shooting in matches, From what I've seen a lot of them only allow 10rds loaded in a mag.

I have the SWFA SS 12x MRAD on my .223 Tikka and love it. For $300 you can't beat it, the new reticle is nice too, to me it's better than the normal Mil-Dot reticles out there. It's better than the cheap scope that RED runs on his evil Saiga;) (jk, I have the same one on my 10/22)

That's a keeper to me, sounds like you would regret letting it go.

I don't have a lot of experience to have a feel for torquing the screws so I got this, http://www.amazon.com/Wheeler-Firearms-Accurizing-Torque-Wrench/dp/B0012AXR4S/ref=pd_sbs_sg_1 I like to be sure that I am not over or under torquing my scopes. I recommend that wrench if you decide together one.

Night sights don't break or require batteries so they aren't going to fail. A light is a good idea for target ID so I would want both. If money is a factor then I would probably go with night sights first, there is usually enough ambient light to see a silhouette and aim with the night sights. I didn't see the big deal about night sights until I traded for a gun that has them and now I want them on all my guns. I have a flashlight by the bed too just in case but would feel confident with just the night sights if my light were to fail.
I am torn on this issue. I am one of a few people who truely believe that we are all equal. Equality is based on equal opportunity. What one does with said opportunity is what makes the difference. Race has no dog in this fight...
Definitely agree with this. All people are not equal in capabilities and intelligence level but race doesn't determine that, what you do with what you are given is most important. Doing the minimum because that is all that is expected of your race is part of what is wrong with our country. We all have to strive to be our best and race has nothing to do with it.

1 Racism : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race So they must not have dictionaries where they are at. This definition reads like step one of their standards program. Are they just too lazy to address kids as individuals with individual learning traits and abilities. People need to stop creating racial division everywhere they can.

I'm in. I'll have to update my profile wish list for a Glock 26 just in case someone is feeling generous;-)

I shot one before and it seemed fine. From all the reports it seems like a great entry level AR.
bought a new car radio a year ago that has bluetooth built in so that my phone syncs to it, can make calls from it, etc. best hands free I've ever used.
Me too, I like this the best.

permanently attaching a suppressor?

An integral would accomplish the same goal but will probably come at a high price. -
I also have a deep distrust of large organizations when it come to money but one thing you could do is give your time instead. I am guilty of being "too busy" for this myself but I have been looking into big brother/big sister type programs. This would be a good way to give someone much needed mentoring. Most of my childhood was spent poor and dysfunctional but I was blessed enough to have a family full of good men and women who helped guide me to a successful adult life. These kids need more than money, they need guidance that they usually don't get from their parents.

That should be another poll, I am a Glock and iPhone guy. Would be interesting to see if the correlation is consistent.

I vote iPhone and am a big Apple fan. If you decide to go Android for whatever reason don't just get "any Android" like the poll says. Do lots of research, there are many differences in phones and which phone have bloatware or are even upgradeable to the newest OS. The new Google phones are pure Android and usually get the new upgrades so I would start there. Another reason I like iPhones is the simplicity in model choice, capacity and color is about as complicated as it gets and that's great for me. I like simple and I know it will be a great product and work with my other Apple stuff.

There are counties that are partially dry. Here we couldn't get wine club shipments for a while but I had them shipped 15 mins down the road and picked them up. Restaurants here serve everything though. The rules are always changing though, we can get shipments now.

The Jackal even though it seems to be an M2 mocked up to look like another gun. http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/File:TJKPvmock-3.jpg

I haven't used mine much yet but I would probably put a couple of set screws in the sides if I had that problem.

And people in the rest of the country barely knows where TN is let alone care about our opinions. That's still a small number when we are talking about steering the opinion and policy of this country. I feel the same way about illegal immigrants, etc as well.
