"We're ready to remove the USA from earth forever!"

I think I can scrounge up a few mags of .223. So you guys can stand down, I got this! ;-) -
I started at the bottom at a local machine shop but i am transitioning into a second career for after I retire from the military. I did work for free at a shop that builds custom cars and they had a lathe and mill that I was able to use so theres an idea if you can't find a school that works.

Are you trying to start a career or just learn some basic skills for personal use?

Magpul needs to move to to East TN and we can use the power of the 30 rd mag to repel the liberal invaders! -

Hey now, that's how I got here! Maybe have inspection checkpoints for immigrants from Liberal states. "Must have at least 1 AR with a 30 rd magazine to enter TN!" Seriously though, my wife is adamant about keeping the awesomeness of this state a secret from CA. I agree that keeping most Californians out of TN is a great idea. -
Awww, you mean this thread isn't going to degrade into 12 yr olds calling each other names because of the computer that they use? ;-) dralarms, I had issues with my laptop getting hot when I was running in closed hooked up to a monitor. I found a program that will allow you to control the fan speeds to help cool it off. This was a Mac app but there is probably the same thing for windows. It'll be louder but it could help. I think is was called SMC fan control or something like that. Edit: haven't tried this but here's an option, http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

Oh no! OS fight! Just kidding, I prefer Apple products but everyone should just use what works for them. I will preach the benefits of Apple stuff but don't take it personally if someone likes something else more.

Test Test Edit: That worked, I deleted/reinstalled the app and the tags go away.

Yeah, I'm a Mac guy too but have to run Windows in Boot Camp for some work programs.

Your code should work with any install. I have an install disk if you need it but downloading the .iso to a bootable flash drive is best. It'll have you verify your install and Win 7 code when online, so the code needs to be good and if its an OEM code it will only work on one machine. http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Trading is fun and I have to maintain an equilibrium in my safe. If I get rid of a gun it must be replaced or the balance will be off and my safe will fall through the floor or something equally disastrous:-) That's what I tell my wife...

Lately I think it has been two reasons. People want to get a high trade value but don't want to gouge for high cash (or be seen doing it). Also, trading for guns/ammo/components that might not be available to buy right now so a trade is how they secure that AR/AK/10000 primers/etc that they want more than cash. Before the crazy time that we are in, I saw a lot less of the trade only ads. Most were willing to post a cash price at least after a few days.

Wine Sold In Grocery Stores.....And Maybe High Gravity Beer?
Romad7 replied to waynesan's topic in General Chat
I'm a wine guy now and I really like doing my shopping in a store that specializes in wine but competition is a good thing. Maybe the specialty store will have to step up there selection and offer better prices, that would be good. I'm all for getting the government out of our lives anyway, stop controlling our choices and let the free market decide I don't like the heavy regulation and territorial nature of the alcohol business. My local wine store should have access to any wine or drink in the world (as long as its legal for import of course). They can't get a lot of my favorites because the distributor isn't allowed access to them because of the region. I'll still shop at my local favorite liquor/wine store for the same reasons that I go to my favorite gun stores over Walmart or big sporting goods stores when I just want to look at guns and deal with people who are knowledgable on the subject. -
That's awesome, congrats! Didn't know about the Wally Walk, I've been carrying for a whopping 3 days now. I've carried weapons on combat ops but this is a whole new thing for me.

Yeah, that topic moderation doesn't work for me either. I'm on an iPad also and don't get the emoticons. We are accessing the full site but there is probably still a difference in how the site is handled on a mobile device. I am using Chrome for iOS.

If you go in and edit the actual ad instead of using the quick function thing it should work. I had the same problem.

Damn dude, a bandana with a lock on it, going back to prison tactics here  I am just messing around though, I love the idea. A guy at work makes those monkey fist things and made one with a cue ball in it with a long tail, its also metal detector friendly  He does the same thing with solid foosballs. I like the idea of a comm plan of some kind. I have been making it a point to start discussing scenarios with my wife too. I told her about how I am always scanning and analyzing possible threats and that was a new concept to her so hopefully she starts doing it too. I explain to her what signs to look for and all that. I need to start thinking about non-firearm defensive weapons for "gun free zones" for my wife and I. Good story, thanks for sharing!

President Can Use Drone Strikes Against Americans on U.S. Soil
Romad7 replied to Moped's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
If it makes you feel any better the rest (not counting new pilots straight out of school) are also seasoned military pilots. Airlift, tanker, helos, etc. The professionalism and competency of the armed UAV crews is on the same level as any other attack platform. -

It's really not that simple and most of these "geeks" are former fighter/bomber/attack pilots with a many hours of combat experience.
