  1. That looks good, Dave. What did you use on that one - Mothers Mag or SemiChrome?
  2. I fired up the grill awhile ago to burn steaks. Guess where my letter went?
  3. Thanks to both coyote and boom boom! I like both suggestions!
  4. Have any of you received a letter from the TN Sheriffs' Association? Mine came in the mail today. The first line of the letter states, As a Handgun Carry Permit holder we know that you are a law abiding citizen, and worried about crime in Tennessee. The letter goes on to offer me a $20 a year membership, 10% off things I may purchase from them, two decals for my car, and an "exclusive membership card with a firearm symbol identifying you as a Handgun Carry Permit holder in TN." They also ask for my handgun carry permit number. I'm sorry, but WTF is this all about? Apparently lists of handgun permit holders are sold as a mailing list. Why do I want to be a member of this group. Have any of you received this letter? What are your thoughts?
  5. LOL . . . that was funny when it was on the Nashville news. She claims she was at the bar and became ill; the bartender told us what made her ill!
  6. Gutterboy . . . sounds like you need this: "Man Bag" with Cell Phone and Eyeglass Pockets by Leather Impressions by Leather ImpressionsBuy new: $44.95 $29.95 (6) Apparel: See all 883 items
  7. I think I'm gonna lose my lunch . . .
  8. Ophelia has not been in the Nashville news lately . . . keeping a low profile right now.
  9. A federal court jury today convicted former state Sen. John Ford on wire fraud and making false statements on official documents. A 9-woman, 3-man jury found Ford guilty of receiving consulting fees from two TennCare contractors, Doral Dental and Memphis-based OmniCare, while the Memphis Democrat served on two Senate committees that oversaw TennCare. [/url] Testimony at trial revelaed Ford received more than $800,000 in consulting fees OmniCare, owned by Detroit-based United American Healthcare, and Wisconsin-based Doral. Ford was convicted on two counts of wire fraud and four counts of making false statements on official documents. The wire fraud charges carry a maximum penalty of 20 years. The maximum sentence for each of the four other charges is five years. A judge will sentence him on Sept. 29.
  10. I guess it all depends on the LEO that stops you . . . some could be jerks about it, others could give some slack
  11. Let's all go get double Big Macs to celebrate! LOL Truly a shame . . .
  12. Let's go belly up to the breakfast bar at Shoney's to celebrate!
  13. I'll admit I am not a total WM fan, but neither does that make me a liberal or a socialist . . .
  14. That's good, Major Pain . . . LOL
  15. Thanks, TripleDigitRide. My greatest problem with the World of Wallace is how they have totally forsaken their "Made in the USA" campaign, which was a major advertising/merchanding issue for them not so many years ago. An industry leader such as WM could lead to a greater emphasis for all companies to spotlight items made in our country. But the need to make a profit and enrich China overwhelms the need to help the US.
  16. I see said the blind man to the deaf woman . . . thanks!
  17. Yeah . . . I plan to go as the Hunchback of Notre Dame . . .

  19. Just notice this was moved . . . I apologize if I posted it in the wrong place.
  20. Thanx for the tip - back when I lived in NC, some of my friends on the NCHP talked about "Flitz" and I totally forgot about it until your mention of it. Any idea where you can get it or should I just look on the net? BTW . . . welcome, tn hp
  21. Okay . . . okay . . . I'm the one that raised the question in the first place. And since everyone thinks I shouldn't shoot a .380, I've decided on this instead:
