  1. Classy . . . very classy
  2. I am tired of apologizing for things that the persons who are affected have long turned into dust . . . You apologize to people's faces; not to their gravestones.
  3. You got a good deal from my perspective
  4. I think I'll get one and take it skeet shooting . . .
  5. Exactly . . . that's what it is all about. Mom and Dad may hate each other, but they MUST unite around their child/children
  6. I like the look of this gun . . . all I would care about is the .410 function
  7. YOU GOT POTS OF WHAT GROWING?
  8. Wish I was sittin' there with you having a drink enjoyin' the storm

  10. Can stainless steel rust? Why? (I thought stainless did not rust!) Answer: Stainless does not "rust" as you think of regular steel rusting with a red oxide on the surface that flakes off. If you see red rust it is probably due to some iron particles that have contaminated the surface of the stainless steel and it is these iron particles that are rusting. Look at the source of the rusting and see if you can remove it from the surface. If the iron is embedded in the surface, you can try a solution of 10% nitric and 2% hydrofluoric acid at room temperature or slightly heated. Wash area well with lots and lots of water after use. Commercially available "pickling paste" can also be used. From http://www.ssina.com/faq/index.html#3 Stainless Steel Information Center
  11. .Very, very well said, sir
  12. I understand well . . . my ex and I "agreed" to never speak ill of each other to our daughters. I have always kept my side of the bargain . . . Hang on, my friend. You have a young man who needs you.
  13. Welcome! My wife is getting ready to take her HCP class. She has found my J frame to be uncomfortable to shoot long term, but she likes the Ruger SP 101 because it is a little heftier and handles recoil better. Just a thought.
  14. I know you hate to spend the money for an attorney, but you very much need to get a legal opinion on your options. Hold on to your relationship with your son, and do not speak ill of his mother to him. Despite your pain and frustration, don't put him in the position of being the recipient of comments about his mother (no matter how true they might be) or his feeling that he must choose one of you over the other. Individualize and strengthen the relationship between the two of you, no matter where he ends up in school. I am very sorry for your situation.
  15. I have seen it and read some of his stuff. What value may we learn from this gentleman? 1. Think carefully about our relationships with other persons. 2. Think carefully about our words and deeds. 3. The only - ONLY - moment of which we are assured is right now; use that moment wisely. 4. People are more important than things. 5. The meaning of life has to do with what we invest in others rather than ourselves.
  16. Exactly. If used as a solvent, it is great. To use nothing but WD-40 is not the best because of its solvency.
  17. Worst race I non-watched in a long time . . .
  18. News this morning reported that O was asked to skip the visit as the Defense Dept. saw this as a political event, which they do not allow, as opposed to a visit by a sitting senator.
  19. Hooters has boobs, but their wings suck
  20. The solvent properties of WD-40 render it useless as a firearm protectant.
  21. Based on what I have seen here, no way I'm gonna watch this video. Based on what I have seen here, these people need my services . . . but I don't think I want to meet them!
  22. I own a Smith & Wesson Model 18 in .22 Long Rifle. I love this gun, especially if you put large grips on it. Have used it to teach my wife how to shoot.
  23. XX2 I also need a
  24. Interesting theological statement. If I do something sinful, it may not be a sin because I am not caught. Hmmm . . .
  25. Be very gentle if you use the steel wool.
