  1. This is helpful . . . Thanks!
  2. What would cause a gun to do that?
  3. Help, please! I was reading a review of a handgun, and the author said the gun "keyholes." What does "keyhole" mean? Guess I was not enlightened somewhere along the way; thanks for the education!
  4. Never seen one of these before . . . y'all like them? Gimme some feedback?!

  8. LMAO . . . I look in here sometimes but say nothing because it reminds me of my first marriage . . .
  9. Good advice from bkelm . . . all the LEOs I have talked to on concealed carry issues have varied amounts of knowledge and opinions, thus, you cannot count on what they have been trained to know. All will interpret what you hand them differently, and there is no certainty it will be interpreted in your favor . . .
  10. I have learned from going to these shows in the past, go around 3 or 3:30 PM on Saturday or an hour or so before the show closes on Sunday. Easier parking and fewer bovines in the way!
  11. It's a cold weekend, so if you want to have some fun, turn on the Speed Channel tonight (Saturday) and from 1 - 5 PM on Sunday and watch the Barrett-Jackson auto auction of some of the greatest collector cars that have ever been made. Enjoy!
  12. Sorry . . . my mom's card was stolen last year; First TN credited it back to her
  13. +1 Demetria is a babe . . .
  14. The Donkey One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off! Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kind of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up. Remember the five simple rules to be happy: Free your heart from hatred - Forgive. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen. Live simply and appreciate what you have. Give more. Expect less. NOW ............. Enough of that crap. The donkey later came back, and bit the farmer who had tried to bury him. The gash from the bite got infected and the farmer eventually died in agony from septic shock. MORAL FROM TODAY'S LESSON: When you do something wrong, and try to cover your ass, it always comes back to bite you. You have two choices...smile and close this page, or pass this along to someone else to spread the fun.
  15. I start changing the channel when Nancy Van Camp starts telling me to "batten down the hatches" . . .
  16. Tell us how ole Nancy is a nut job! I know if there is a small thunderstorm in south Texas headed our way in 48 hours, Nancy will turn it into a major tornado!

Rugers don't seem to get a lot of respect on TGO . . . Not trying to make anyone mad, so don't respond with hundreds of comments. Just sharing my opinion.
  18. Very, very well said TDR . . .
  19. My prescription to you: a bottle of Bacardi Rum . . . and a straw. No, it won't help the flu, but you won't feel anything! Seriously, hope you feel better soon!

  23. Check out the new TN legislature's website @ http://www.capitol.tn.gov/ Site adds new functionality by making it easier to identify your state rep and senator, find any bill by topic, and you may create a list of "my bills" to keep up with legislation of interest.

    "Creek" gun?

True . . . if you don't shoot your foot off with it first! LOL:tinfoil:
  25. You are right . . . next year we will get Vince crammed down our throats whether or not he is playing well. Why? Because Bud Adams has to get the money out of his investment. And the Titans COULD have had Jay Cutler . . .
