I would also check with an antique store to get their opinion about your jewelry. I'm somewhat in the same boat. My mother died in 2017 and we dealt with all the known jewelry of worth, but are left with one box of assorted items that we are unsure if costume or real.

I am a doctoral level psychotherapist and my clients, unless they look up my bio or ask my educational qualifications never know it. The "title" gets in the way of trust and relationship.

Sometimes I carry a S&W Model 66 2" barrel, other times a Model 36.

Interesting read. In my 35 years as a licensed psychotherapist I wish causation and mental illness was as simple as he puts it. If it was my job would be a lot easier. -

In the early '70s I would show up for class at Chattanooga High School with my Ruger .44 mag carbine in the gun rack after having hunted before school and ready to go back to the deer stand after school. -
I do miss the 70's with my CB radio. My handle was "Cannonball"

Correct about interest in the Hi-Power never fading. I still carry my Browning that I bought in 1972.
