so back to my original questions, could you make this for say a 9MM or 357? and would each round need a stamp or something like that?
-
Not quit as fun but deffitnally worth looking into. I will see if I can find some and see how it works. It might really help my girls enjoy shooting with me. Right now they get off one shot and then say they are done. ( but they both love whering the ear muffs even when not shooting. Who knew)

At 200 + a pop that does not sound like a good deal. Still I think there are applications for this round that should be looked into. Does any one know of any?

Rodents in the Yard is one. another is practice in my back yard with my normal gun with out the neighbors getting mad. and last is if I can do this with out getting a Stamp I think it would allow more people the chance to see what shooting is like with out the extra expense and noise.

I have been reading up on the Russian weapons of the Cold War and found this cool little silent pistol they made that does not use a can. Instead it uses special amo that has a piston in it that during firing keeps all the Gas in the Case and just "Pushes" the bullet out of the barrel. My question is could this be applied to other Amo that is out there? and if you could do this would it still be a AOW or Class III? Let me know your thoughts please.

Last time I ws at the range it started falling out after ever 2 or 3 shots. I did not want to stop so I super glued it in with some high temp engine glue and it lasted the last 300 rounds. By still not happy with it. Anyone have a better option?

I will try that

How do you make the coffee stain? I normally use a stane from Tandy leather that looks very good but I alwase want to play with new things. And that looks very cool

Do they do that here around Chattanooga at all. The ones I have made I had to figure out all on my own. Thank God for google pictures.

that helps knowing about the accessory. I think I missed out when I got it because I did not look for the papers from when the guy brought it home and I am sure I saw the holster but did not pick it up. but I do know for sure it was a war bring back as there are no import marks on it at all. and it has little to no rust and it seams to work great. just need some cash now and it is one I am not that attached to. if I could get the 700 out of it that would make my day. I just was hoping it could be one of the more valuable ones.

Where in east TN and I will keep an eye out as well

what do the importer marks look like? this is not like my SKS that has it in big letters on the Left side saying "imported by" and "Made in China" so I am not exactly sure what to look for. if you can tell me that would be great.

I have a P38 from about 1943/44 that is all Matching made by Spreewerk. I have been searching around a bunch to find out what these are going for right now. Does anyone here know what they are worth and how to make that value go up if I can? I do not have the Capture Papers with it and the Mag is not original to the gun, I found it was was made by a subcontractor with JVD stamped on it. Any Ideas would be great. Thank you

I have a 3.5 inch Walther P22. I generally like it. and my Wife loves it, she picked it over the SIG Mosquito, the the Beretta Nano and a Rugger Mark III. but the Front sight keeps falling out when I holster it. I built the holster to hold it tight and high on my hip. Are there any replacement sites for this gun? and if so where? I did see the High Vis front sites on Amazon but I want something that will be solid and not come out and that looks like it will come out even faster. I am almost thinking of taking it to a shop and having them put in a steal site for me and either weld it or something so it is attached and will not come off. but that will take some funding that I do not have right now. any Ideas or suggestions? I want something that will work and not leave me searching for that stupid site on the range next time.

dlm37015 next time I am in Nashville I will look you up, but it may be a wile. as to doing each step one at a time, I will try that on my next batch. that is if my wife does not get me the Lee Hand press for Christmas. I had never thought about median being in the primer pocket. I will have to check for that on the rest of my loads. and I agree with all of you I hate the Hammer Primer part of my tool. it scares the crap out of me, but it is what I have right now. Thank you

I was using the 5gran dipper that came with the kit. So far it has worked great. I will try shaking them and see if I hear the powder. And I have not gotten a scale yet so that is now the top of my list. Thank you for the info. That makes me feel a lot better.

I have a lee classic kit in 9mm. I have made about 500 rounds with it. Until today they all have worked great in my 92sf. But today, when my son was shooting, it just went pop so I checked it. The shell was covered in black and the bullet was just into the riffling. I brought it home and cleared the barrel but I want to know if I should worry about the other 100 rounds I still have? And how often does this happen? It has really got me wondering if loading my own is the right way to go. Any input, experience or advice would be welcome. Thank you

a Cleaner burn would be nice, I spend over an hour scrubbing the gun out after this last trip. it was a total mess inside. even the retaining pin was sticking and I had a very hard time changing the cylinders. where do you get some good Conical Bullets and how much are they compared to Round Ball? I bought this so I could shot more and not spend as much on Amo. but at 300+ grans of power per cylinder that is not going to cut it. I can shoot my 9MM for less then that. also with a Conical bullet do you have to user a wad/felt? and how do you make sure the gas seal is right? I know with the ball you just look for that nice ring of lead it leave when you ram it in. -

It is a blast to shoot. I will try some filler next. as to how much power I can fit, I have put 55 grans as I said and could have fit another 5 to 10 grans with no trouble. And I will also try some smaller lead balls if the filler does not work. Thank you all -
Correct load for steal 1858 Remington 44 cal clone

Yes 55 grains fit with about 1/8 to 1/4 inch of space free above it. And it is very acurate but I do not want to blow my hand off if I am compressing the powder too much. And at 25 grains there is no accuracy at all. So that is why I have cone up. So far with both cylinders the more powder the tighter the groups are in this gun. -
I have a 1858 Remington clone from cabbalas in 44 cal. I have been shooting it a bit and want to know how much powder is too much. So far I have gone up to 55 grans and when I put the ball in and rammed it, the ball was sitting over 1/4 inch below the rim of the cylinder. Am I compressing the powder too much or can I keep this up and as long as I get the ball in and under the force cone I will not create a grenade in my hand? Any help would be good Thank you
