  1. The way he’s talking about it, he’s never seen it this bad in his 30-plus years in office.” NO ONE SHOULD EVER BE IN OFFICE FOR THAT LONG!
  2. I'd wager we might see bullets move toward the micro brew movement in brewing. No clue about the regulations, but it'd be easy for a local movement to "process " a 2000 pound order if you could rent the brass to shooters in the private club. Time for thinking outside the ammo box.
  3. So good!
  4. Plus 1 for cmmg stainless kit. Works just fine for minute of squirrel accuracy.
  5. The old civil war era ones used to be cleaned out with warm soap and water. Not sure if that would get around a patch and a ball though. How about an air compressor to blow it out? Seems safer than ignition...
  6. One upper and one lower please...
  7. Seems like our CNN friends have a flair for the dramatic. Specifically on the editing of this piece. Not saying Corker isn't right, just poor production value.
  8. scrolled down to the bottom of the TGO page and it said we now have 1 Million posts on the board... Not sure if that's since the most recent upgrade or for all time.  Either way, great accomplishment and a great resource!  Thanks to David and all of the other Admins that make this a great corner of the internet.
  9. I have not. Looked like all the right marketing materials...
  10. http://www.gem-state-armory.com/m16-bolt-carrier-group/   USA made for $110 bucks for those of you looking.
  11. There's a joke about being henpecked in there somewhere. Just not sure what it is...
  12. I have been there. To be polite, a bit pricey on their limited ammo selection. Reasonable on the handguns, or at least willing to entertain offers. Last time I was there they had the s&w ar-15/22. At the time those were pretty hard to find and I came close to taking it home. Also, due to their location, they get a large variety of clientele from the surrounding area. All in, the owners there seem to be able to stock guns that they can sell. Not too much inventory that people wouldn't buy on the regular. Smart business plan in this economy.
  13. Someone did just that. Right next door!
  14. Just pulled some of the early season veggies that weren't doing too well in favor of some newer stuff that can take the heat of summer. Fingers crossed.
  15. "The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy. Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America. I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher. But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities. We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin." —President Obama: http://wh.gov/laNQE   Don't worry our President will tell us what to do next...   :Sarcasm:
  16. What time does this get started ?
  17. Lester, love to see some pictures of this once it gets settled in...
  18. That's not my idea of moving forward!
  19. I will see your 6 year old and raise you some bagpipes!   http://www.loopinsight.com/2013/06/27/the-badpiper-thunderstruck/?utm_source=loopinsight.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=Feed
  20. I would stay with a .22 over the .177. It's more likely to stay subsonic due to the weight. I've been happy with my Benjamin trail np. Seems a couple db quieter than the gammo that a buddy has.
  21. In his dissent, Justice Kennedy argues "...In the end, what the Court fails to grasp or accept is the basic premise of the initiative process. And it is this.  The essence of democracy is that the right to make law rests in the people and flows to the government, not the other way around. Freedom resides first in the people without need of a grant from government."   That's so right on man!  Although it seems in this case SCOTUS punted the ruling back to the individual states to decide what is best for their own territories.
  22. I'm curious what the 911 person told you. Would they typically respond to an event like this and did you stay on the phone the whole time?
  23. Send it off to Sig for their reconditioning service. It'll come back running like new. They did magical things for my p6! Best 89 bucks I ever spent...
