Some range time that focuses on the first shot (double action) and the second round (single action) would do you some good. I have found that if you don't carry a round in the chamber (your gun is "safer") and cycling the slide becomes part of your draw, then all of the shots will be single action.

Who would you recommend for some trigger work on a ruger 10/22 in the Nashville area? I was hoping to get some feedback from some of you rimfire shooters out there that have made some upgrades to your rig.

well I bought a box of reloads just to break in the gun and get familiar with .40 cal. The bulk of my previous shooting experience has been with rimfire. Really just looking to see what's out there and get some feedback from the folks using or choosing a particular brand/type.

Looking for any recommendations on a good brand / type of .40 S&W load for target shooting... thoughts? I got a box of the BVAC once fired brass and my Sig ate that just fine but there was some inconsistency between the different types of shells that seemed to effect accuracy.

Does anyone have buying tips for an AR lower receiver; more specifically getting it transferred? Most online places require a transfer to an FFL...

I've been looking into putting a rig together. Any tips on which lower to get? Looks like you went with the DPMS, any feedback good, bad or otherwise? Also does anyone have any good links for specs on a Designated Marksman Rifle package?
