One of my goals in 2022 is to finally get into thermals and/or night vision. I'm in Knoxville, but there doesn't seem to be any stores that carry scopes or monoculars, so I can't get a feel for what I like before buying. They are so damn expensive I don't want to make an expensive mistake ordering online, and then come to discover I don't like what I bought. Anybody know of stores with a good inventory? I am willing to travel. Thanks.

Just wanted to introduce myself. Live in Knoxville and am addicted to 1911s and AR-15s. Still have my first gun, a Winchester Model 1300 Defender I bought in 1994. Don't know too many gun enthusiasts in the area, so I wanted to see what this place is all about. I remember when CCA was GunCraft!
