i would love to agree with you, i just have difficulty in believing it would work that way here in the good old USA given the way things have gone in the last decade or 2, i would be afraid to put trust in your average joe (hey that's me!!) to not screw me and my family/friends/group over until i knew them for awhile... but maybe it would be that simple .. maybe TEOTWAWKI would weed out the idiots fast enough to be a non issue lol
-
32000 on first try .. they get pretty damn fast there after a minute lol
-
yeah it gets tricky when dealing with non trained civilians who have their own reasons for doing things .. where as the green berets are highly trained and have been molded into a "for the greater good of the group" mindset, too many civilians would look out for number 1 and not risk their neck to have your back .. not saying it's not a good idea but i would have to know someone pretty well to trust them at my back if we were deep into a SHTF scenario
-
lol dang it you just remined me that i got 2 M&P knives i should have had in that picture
-
i do .. one would think me a fanboy but yeah somehow i keep ending up with M&P's lol .. M&P 15 Sport, M&P .22, M&P 9mm Talo edition and M&P 9mm with my custom zombie green fingernail polish job
-
lmao funny you should post this cause in all seriousness i was considering getting one of these now that summer (bug season) is here .. it shoots a tiny ammount of salt with every shot kinda like "bug shot" out of a shotgun
-
sick looking rifle man, may she treat you well
-
ty .. believe it or not i had made the decision to get an AR right before everything went crazy, and after a couple months of research i decided that the M&P 15 Sport was perfect for my needs and at an awesome price ... but of course when i could finally afford to buy one NIB for around $700 OTD they were suddenly $2,000 used lol ... and now that things are settling down this one fell in my lap at what i think was a very good price @ $800 .. the only things i've added since i bought it are the dot sight with riser and QD mount, the sling and the rail covers
-
finally got an AR-15 after many many moons of drooling over everyone elses toys lol .. its not a super custom job but im happy happy happy :) M&P 15 Sport .. Knights Armament RAS Rail with rail covers, B5 Bravo stock, BCM Gunfighter pistol grip, Magpul ASAP single point sling mount and single point sling, Magpul AFG2, and Magpul BUIS, UTG green/red dot with Quick Detach mount and riser to co witness with iron sights only things im really considereing adding right now is possibly a flip up front sight post and a Magpul B.A.D Lever and of course lots and lots of ammo and PMags lol
-
just get one stamped 5.56 and you can shoot either .. they are the same caliber really .. it's .223 caliber or 5.56 mm, the only difference is 5.56 is Nato and loaded a bit hotter i believe

ya know as an honest and upstanding (at least in my own eyes) yet broke person ... it's hard to resist the temptation to sell some of my .22 ammo, the money would help but i just dont want to feel slimy lol -
hey now revolution is cool too!! lol ... but yeah cant wait to see whats up with the new alien race myself
-
i had the same dilemma looking for a budget "home defense" shotgun and after alot of research i chose the Maverick 88 12g and im very happy with it a year later, im still toying with the idea of putting a collapsable stock and pistol grip on it, but that was one of the deciding factors initially for me because of the safety setup .. but after having put a few hundred rounds through it im very impressed with the fit finish and functuionality of the gun ... it doesnt feel like a "knock off" of anything honestly, or at least to me it just feels like a rock solid pump shotgun
-
all the prices i can find online are years old so just wondering what a fair value for this would be .. it's a 1987 marlin model 30aw 30-30 lever action .. not a safe queen but not in bad shape either with an aftermarket peep sight installed
-
if you're looking for something with readily available and cheap ammo you should look into an AK74 .. the 5.45 round is basically the russian version of the 5.56 / .223 round, but the ammo is readily available online and even cheaper than 7.62x39
-
i picked up a GP75 about a week ago for $700 .. and i know thats nowehere near old school price but it DID come with 9 mags and 400rds of ammo along with a cheap red/green dot optic (which i removed because it sat too high on the rail for me) and all the aftermarket furniture i would have had to buy for a normal AK anyway .. i cant stand the warsaw length wood stock, feels like a gun made for a munchkin to me .. so all in all not bad in my eyes, especially considering the market
-
yeah sadly giving you guys the heads up is all i can do .. cant afford to buy any myself at the moment .. oh the irony lol ... but glad to see you guys get it rather than ammo resellers :D

not hard at all actually, i went through a few other colors before i landed on the one i like .. just scrub a little harder with the Q-Tip and it comes right out
-
i tried the crayon thing a few years ago on a Glock 21SF and never could get it to stick uniformly, the nail polish is much better lol
-
lol i tried like 4 different colors my wife had laying around but none of them showed very well against the black for some reason, so i asked her to find something as close to zombie green as she could when she was at wal-mart and she came back with this, pure ice"wild thing" .. i think it's a good shade for zombie though
-
fingernail polish ... it was actually very simple, just apply over the engraving and then wipe off the excess with a Q-Tip dipped in NON-ACETONE fingernail polish remover, supposedly the stuff with acetone in it can damage your finish
-
im happy considering it's my first attempt

i have the ruger SR22 and the S&W M&P22 and i gotta say that the S&W surprised me with it's "ruger like" ability to eat the bulk ammo with no hiccups right out of the box and it's a very accurate lil gun
-
just picked up a H&K MP5 22 about a month ago and havent really had a chance to shoot it much, but from all i can gather after watching and reading MANY reviews they are crazy reliable for rimfire even with the cheap bulk ammo, and supposedly very accurate ... all i can say from personal experience after breaking it down and cleaning it is that im very impressed with the fit and finish of it .. i almost bought a GSG 522 a couple years ago but changed my mind after fondling the gun, it just felt like a toy but the H&K MP5 22 feels like a real gun
