  1. My small village has but one theater, Regal. What sign? Is there a sign?
  2. I had heard something along these lines. I am a state instructor and am a little appalled at this incident. I don't agree with the "because he shot himself he is a good instructor" theory. I have used/taught firearms since 1970 and have had one incident. It still embarrases me and I don't like sharing the incident, but I and no one else got injured.
  3. Was there an incident recently at Gun City. Anybody heard about anything unusual?
  4. I am with you Lester, a god blue job is worth it's weight!
  5. I need to refinish the receiver on an 1100 I just bought. The receiver has a few bad rust spots and some pitting here and there. I know it can't look perfect and I am ok with that, I just would like someone with the skills (hot blue) to do a job at a reasonable price. Am in south middle TN and do not want to drive to Memphis if you get my drift. Anybody know someone out there and maybe it's you? Thanks and Merry XMas!
  6. I like the Milt Sparks, I have three, two Versa Max. They are very good, well made holsters. I also like Kramer. SIG RCS Colt New Agent Aegis and Aegis Pro
  7. I have a three inch Kimber totally reliable. My favorite is my SIG RCS, comander length with Oficers grip. Excellent carry piece!

    Glock Vs 1911

Besides, as a former Para owner, I know you will lose relaibility! I don't carry a Glock, but I have a lot of experience with them and I gotta say, they are nearly flawless. Am researching to get the 33.
  9. I too had an EMP. It took several hundred rounds to break in, but did get there. Also had slide stop problems and SA fixed and sent extra mag or two. I really liked the pistol, but thought the night sights looked cheap. Also thought the frontstrap should be checkered for the price. All in all I liked it, but prefer my Aegis.
  10. I have a CDP pro carry II and an Aegis. Both are great weapons. I had a small problem with the Aegis slidestop, but otherwise. Kimber, like other manufacturer has pistols with problems. The cost are pretty high, but have you looked into getting say a SA "Loaded" model checkered on the front strap, melt down for carry, night sights etc. IMHO, prices are relative unless you can do some of these things yourself.
  11. I carry Extreme Shock Air Freedom rounds in my PM9. Look on their website, mighty powerful stuff. I've ripped some heavy duty wet phone books with this stuff. Not terribly useful against say a windshield, it is frangible, but carry Golden Sabre in the spare. Look it up...
  12. I tried one once and got rid of it in a hurry. It does take some getting used to and it is quite a bit slower on the draw as compared to an IWB of good quality. Also, if you are a person with a little extra girth, if you know what I mean, this holster doesn't work so good. Just IMHO....
  13. Hey DavidH, you can buy a gun in Huntsville, but it must be shipped to an FFL in Tennessee. Have done it at Larry's. Who has the LCP for under $250?
  14. I plan to be there. I know Joe and feel like he will do everything in his power to make this effort worthwhile!
