Free bump. I have this same model and it has been an excellent carry piece. I have about 1200 rounds through mine with no issues. Pairs well with a Holosun 407C. -

I have (6) 20 round boxes of Federal Premium Law Enforcement Tactical Bonded .223 ammo that I’m looking to sell. Nickel cases. Bonded soft point works excellent on both two legged and 4 legged varmints. 2 boxes of 55grn and 4 boxes of 62grn. $25 per box. I’m in the Spring Hill/Columbia area but I’m willing to travel a reasonable distance to meet. My trade interests are pretty broad, feel free to ask.

Great comparison, thanks for sharing your findings.

My local recycler won’t take ammunition brass either. I usually save up a bucket or two and give them to a guy I know that melts them into ingots. I then recycle it and split the cash with him.

I personally feel like a TQ goes with gun activities (recreational or otherwise) like peanut butter goes with jelly. You can get by without a lot of nice to have medical equipment and maybe still survive, but in an instance where a TQ is truly necessary you aren’t lasting until help gets there without one….much like a firearm. A TQ is the only non fighting thing I keep on my gun belt, and if I had to bump a knife or dagger to fit a TQ I would. I’m partial to the SOF-T followed by the CAT. I’m somewhat skeptical of the SAM XT as you have to be mindful of a straight pull to engage both of the locking teeth. Without engaging both I’ve seen them come loose during movement/jostling. That being said, with any TQ you should recheck it after moving to ensure it’s still working properly.

Yes I’ve got a Citadel LevTac in .38/.357 that is basically a tactical looking Rossi 92. I got it through Rainer Arms and I think it was under $900 including all the tax, shipping, and transfer fees. I’ve got a Holosun 407c on it, and added the Ranger Point Precision buttstock and a Chisel Machine quiver. It’s a fun shooter, smooth enough action, but I am going to have to do some work on the loading gate as it’s a fight to load it.

I’ve been looking at the Rossi 95 Triple Black models. I have a few other Rossi guns (lever and revolver) that seem decently built. I heard there may be one or two other new lever guns coming out at SHOT 24 in addition to already mentioned S&W.

On Combat and On Killing both by Dave Grossman are both good reads if you are wanting to get a bit further into the psychology on it.

We haven’t had a regular TV service provider in probably 12 years. I only watch shows once they are complete and I can binge watch them all at once, for which I use Netflix and Prime. The wife only watches HGTV and college football, which she streams through something, not sure which one. I do watch a lot of free YouTube and my son and I both game a good bit. We’ve had AT&T fiber for a few years and it’s kept up with our needs. I have about 32TB of movies that I downloaded via bit-torrent while working overseas. I could probably watch then delete a movie every day for the rest of my life and still have some leftover.

Yessir, I’ve got a big spool gun for my Trailblazer and a smaller one for my Multimatic 215. I don’t get a lot of requests for aluminum repairs or projects, so I haven’t bit off on an AC TIG machine….yet.

@ironsniper1 feel free t shoot me a PM. I’m in your area and I have a mobile welding business. Unfortunately TIG is what I do the least of…mainly stick on heavy equipment repairs and mig on most fabrication projects. Some SS TIG, but only a couple times a year. I would brace yourself for spending a minimum of a couple grand on a decent TIG machine. Miller has a couple small units that mig, stick, and TIG but you’ll be a few grand in once you set it up to all three processes. But feel free to reach out and I’ll give you whatever help/advice that I can.

The first “slimline” Glock. I had one for many years. Great carry gun.

The trigger on these is remarkably good. I love mine.

I’ve had good experiences so far with RMRs, RSOs, 407 series and the 507 series and just recently add a SwampFox Sentinel to the inventory. Usually I have some “flare” type issues with alot of the smaller MOA dots, regardless of manufacturer, but this green dot on the Sentinel is very crisp. I’ve personally not come across a Sig Romeo for a pistol that I’ve liked the dot at all, but some of my buddies like them. If I could choose only one dot that I had to run across all my handguns it would be the Holosun 407C.

Reasons why someone should get a hand gun carry permit
Danger Rane replied to icruz's topic in Handguns
If there truly were that many idiots running around causing problems for everyone simply because they lacked mandatory firearms training than we would certainly be hearing about it and the TN legislators would certainly be trying to saddle us with it. I’m 100% in agreement that responsible gun owners should get training, just like I think everyone should stay out of debt, workout most days, and quit drinking, but I certainly don’t think any of that should be mandated. It’s a very slippery slope whenever we encourage the Govt to mandate something in the public “best interest” as they get a taste for it and don’t know where to stop.- 67 replies

I’ll have to look into this. I’ve never found another product that works as well as their (CERAKOTE) rubber/plastic restore wipes. We run our vehicles through a car wash at least 1-2 times per week, and even with that abuse their plastic/rubber product is lasting a good 6-8 months between applications.
