  1. Graycrait is the resident Yoda when it comes to all things .22. I will also 2nd the ruger platforms. Graycrait showed me how to do the trigger job on the MkIII and since then I have bought a Volquartsen Scorpion. The trigger on it paled in comparison to what Craig showed me how to do. If I were you I would go for the mkIII 22/45 with the TB and iron sights but make sure you get a newer one with replaceable grips. Then throw on a red dot in the ruger dovetail mount and you will be very pleased. Sp
  2. It's a great place here, welcome to TGO.
  3. I'll second that one.
  4. +1 after living in Indonesia for a while with those fresh Sumatra beans I learned the French press was the best way.

Welcome to TGO, I'm here in Clarksville also. Maybe we can have a TGO clarksville range day sometime.

    Bazooka!

I found 3 yesterday in a locker when we were moving buildings, if you want one PM me.
  7. Thanks, it's a great shooter too.
  8. Ignorance at its finest...please come visit my polling location on election day.
  9. Oh man +1 million on that.... can't wait to value something in old Copenhagen tins and argue over it
  10. I'm interested in this also. I've been looking for a good place and group to run though some of the drills with.
  11. Yea same here, it's much better than the ipb. I just wish we could see the new classifieds on tapatalk. I like the way the new ones look on an actual computer but who really uses one of those anymore.

    Bazooka!

Hmm shotgun insert??? I think I have a tube or 2 somewhere.

    Bazooka!

I would put my money on the instructor telling you wrong. Also, I would say in size yes the 28 wins but the fuzing and warhead system on the LAW is far superior. The entire bore riding pin and inertia driven base detonating system with only a 50/50 ratio for the shaped charge puts it as a failed system early on. The piezo and det speed of the M72 warhead is one of the fastest and most efficient still to this day of mass produced designs and with the optimum cone angle and standoff distance the 72 punches deeper and faster than the M28 series. Anyway, glad to know there is someone else around that can appreciate what it's like to put 90mm recoilless rounds down range.

    Bazooka!

You mean 67mm actually for the LAW.
  15. I'm on a IPhone 4. I closed it out in the tray, changed passwords and restarted. I ultimately had to delete and reinstall the app to get it to work. It all started after I did the most recent Tapatalk update. But all is well now.
  16. Is anyone else having an issue with tapatalk? I can't login to the forum, it gives a message stating that login has failed and the administrator has restricted access. It's been that way since yesterday afternoon.
  17. I have an EOTech I'm parting with if interested.
  18. What?? I can't believe they cast Tom Cruise - I bet Mr. Child is regretting his decision of selling the movie rights. I have to say I will be with you Motasyco, I will not be seeing this one. I have read all the Reacher novels to date and Tom is just to much of a wuss. They should have cast somebody like Gerard Butler or Clive Owen at least.
  19. Another entertaining one is Z day. It's a zombie situational survival game. A couple of us at work played it to see who can get the best score. Jk you round up all those parts yet so we can build you a glorified zombie killer.
  20. Not to hi-jack the thread but Dolomite you just saved me $329.00, I was about to order a PacLite and saw your comment and picture. As always you definitely bring some outstanding knowledge and experience to the forum. So I just fired off a question to Volquartsen about the new LLV and what the breech was made of. Sp
  21. Thanks David, I have been lost the past couple days. I was disappointed with IPB it just wasn't as easy and fluid as Tapatalk.
  22. I carry SOB frequently, its easier for me to conceal with my frame and build with compact and larger platforms. If you get a good holster you don't even know its there when driving - unless you have the lumbar support at the max. Like others have said though if you fall on it, it will hurt and limit your ability to draw if you have an incapacitated primary hand or arm. If you're comfortable though with that it's a great way to carry. I carry SOB a lot when riding my Harley. I can't speak as to your level of training and others but drawing and flagging yourself is not an issue with proper training. Speed is also slightly reduced but with good SA this is a negligible factor but when those hairs tingle and you make the initial purchase it isn't as much of a tell tell. Having said all the above I carry the most in my crossbreed.
  23. I was just trying to do the same thing, no matter how I put the link in it would give me the error.
  24. I'm on here probably at least an hour or two everyday. There is just so much going on. Maybe David has the ability through the site to show the stats on the top 25 most active. I guess he would have to exclude himself and other moderators.
