  1. Was reduced to $995 now $950 If your buying guns you really need this big safe. Protect all your valuable papers, pictures and firearms. Everyone please be safe this weekend Mike
  2. Some guys at work used to say, Do you ever stock food and water ? All I hear you talk about is guns and ammo ! Your no preper. My reply is “I don’t need too, when that time comes I’ll just take yours ! Mike
  3. Sold ! Finally ! Merry Christmas everyone Ranger series fire proof safe. 60” tall, 36” wide, 27” deep. Dial combo lock with Key’s. You can have it replaced with keypad if you like. This safe was purchased in the 90’s so age and construction quality is very strong. Safe is located in Bethesda which is small town between Thompson station and college grove, Tn. It’s in a garage and you need to have means to move it. I can not lift because health issues. Possible trades for Lever guns, we can talk, WAS $950, $800 Call me or txt my cell. 615-415-6736 Thanks, Mike
  4. Dirtshooter, your Dad gave you good advice. I was taught to always treat folks like the way you want to be treated. Respect ! It’s all about respect for yourself and others. Mike
  5. Where will you turn to for lead ? Since wheel weights dried up and roofing lead is getting scarce, what else is left other than foundry lead? I was fortunate to get into casting when lead was free and or cheep enough to acquire. The thought of having to buy factory Ammo really makes me sick. I think many new shooters especially women and older folks purchase revolvers for the fact they are easy to handle and shoot. With the amount of firearms sold and new permit holders this past year, I would presume 38’s dried up and manufactures are playing catch up. The high cost in my opinion is supply n demand based. As far back as I can remember when 9mm fed or win was $4.99 bx/50 ,CCI blazer aluminum was $3.99, 38’s were $6.00 ? Im talking just plain Jane fmj’s not hp flavor’s. The demand was low but it was still higher than 9’s. More brass and more powder than 9 ? Either way, I feel for the next generations that have no clue what’s going on yet. Mike
  6. I’ve had good luck in the past pushing out Primers from another guys reloads just used universal decap die and went slow. Loaded those in different brass and kept them seperate from my normal reloaded Ammo and they all worked fine. I agree with others here not to try on crimped mil brass and not worth the effort unless you have air equipment to push them out in timely manor like guys that De-mil ammo for living. Maybe pull the tracers, re charge and seat your favorite bullet ? Mike
  7. I learned my lesson during the Hi-Cap ban, and I also won’t forget the dealers that were selling glock 13 rd mags fer $125 Have several mags for my 1 gun ! Mike
  8. And to think the Dem’s are sitting back with cocktails in hand and laughing as they argue about how much higher they could raise Ammo tax’s. Its really sad because some people will just stop teaching their children to shoot because of the cost. Many of the older folks I had worked with stoped going out to practice because of the cost. Very sad times, Mike
  9. STILL JUST $19.95. ! Get-em before the rush starts ! Mike
  10. How many are you looking for ? Brand ? I see your in tullahoma. Good. Mike
  11. Post it at what you want and a big OBO, if some likes what you have they will buy. Market was flooded with brass and when prices fell, seems they are still down some. Mike
  12. Nice man cave there. Needs a little green and red at the back wall bench area, Blue is fine, just looks lonely ! Mike
  13. I’m sure like in the past Ammo will appear at thanksgiving time when gun sales rise. its really sad how high Ammo has got. I guess the Dems killed two birds with one stone, broke the country and took all ammunition off the shelves ! Bats and golf clubs will disappear off the shelves next. Mike
  14. Been watching and waiting on results from this. Anyone get ....HAMR’ed yet ?.. Mike
  15. DeepSouth, Welcome to the forum and casting reloading community. Casting or reloading can help take your mind off the worries your going through. Kemo is no fun and will ware you down but try to keep up good spirits. Worry will eat you up. I had major surgery 2 yr ago and life changes. Still here cause God knows I need to cast and reload till I can’t shoot no more. All that casting reloading stuff you received is to keep you going too. Have faith, chin up and enjoy this fine hobbie you inherit. We are all here to help you learn and answer any questions you have. Mike.
  16. Red, nice job. Now to load sum pistol shot shells ! Will those .020 drippers drop same size shot with pure lead ? Off topic, I was over your way yesterday at Gander mtn. Most of the reloading stuff gone. All the good pocket knifes gone.... guess you been there already !!! Got to be price savvy as they have high prices and the 30-60% sale = regular prices on sum items and same as amazon. Not a true discount yet in my opinion. Mike
  17. Google cheep 9mm Ammo. There are some Dist. that have different brands of 9 as low as $8.49 bx/50. And free shipping, no tax either. Wolf was one, Tula. Not sure on brass loaded but never had any trouble with wolf. Read here that some found 22's at Wally World and the shelf was stocked ! Merry Christmas Mike
  18. It's a shame that some of the distributors like CDNN still advertising $39-$49 fer 500 rds. I've been boycotting them ever since they inflated the prices. Screw all those places that think we are stupid and getting a bargain ! Emailing them all to let them know is another thing we can do to make them aware of the business they are loosing from us who refuse to Support the gougers ! Mike
  19. Another happy customer here! I went into FGS almost 20 yrs ago. Long drive from whitehouse back then. Looked around and found most Glocks at $625. Any store in Nashville then had highest price of $499. $459-479 avg. Never ever stepped foot in there again. I figure that folks with money to burn after leaving the Governers club with free drinks must shop there ! Most transfers around I find are $20-25 plus tics. They are responsible if a bad s/n firearm gets shipped in or if a bad guy try's to slip the system. I have been at a store where the guy behind the counter smelled alcohol on customers breath and refused to sell him firearm. Guy said he had a beer with his lunch! Another time guy was clearly buying for his friend because of conversation and clerk refused to sell after a few questions. After a shooting, the gun store is usually the second stop fer law inforcement. So to charge $25 I'd say is fare. 10 yr storage of paperwork. Be safe, Mike
  20. Congrats on the SDB. You made a good choise. As long as you do your part in set up you should have no troubles loading any pistol cal and boolit type. Be safe, don't rush and you uninterrupted feel fer loading on it will come quickly. Mike
  21. K191145 I love your Real explanation. I wanted to add another, maybe all the posted restaurants were tired of being robbed and or their un armed customers being strong armed or robbed in the parking lots ! AS A GUN OWNER, I think the no guns allowed sign is very offensive and should be replaced with a much more friendly SHEEP symbol on the door ! I believe all the anti gun crowd, liberals would also go along with this as just Seeing that gun signe gives them chills, disrupts their thoughts, makes their tummy so hurt and affects their evenings dine out with their other liberal friends. So you think SHEEP STICKERS should be the universal less offensive fer all symbol ? Mike
  22. Comms, Not sure if you watched any of the reloading vids on you tube. Type a search with press you want to see and you get an idea of what you have to go through. "Most" of the videos are really educational and you also get an opinion of the operators good and bad of the press they run. I shoot mostly pistol and reload on a Dillon SDB. It's been a very reliable press and has the no BS warranty which is a plus ! The die sets are only usable in the SDB press. Extra tool heads make caliber change over faster and less trouble as your setting don't change. Used presses and die sets are always found fer sale and save you some $$ from new, but not to much . With the amount of pistol shooting you do it's a good option in a progressive press. The Dillon 550 uses same dies as all the other presses and tool heads save time in change over. Yes you have to rotate the plate but once you establish a routine it will pump out Ammo. If you are wanting to speed load, then save your self lots of trouble and just purchase Ammo ! NEVER BE IN A HURRY TO RELOAD ! If time is an issue, and you don't have much time, DRIVE FAST to your local store and buy ammo. Just my $.02 worth. Be safe always, Mike
  23. My friends up in New York State, NOT NYC, told me they yes they CAN buy ammo on the internet BUT, it has to be shipped to an FFL for them to pick up there and show ID and I guess it might be same as a firearm purchase . Fees involved, makes it expensive and not worth doing. So your stuck paying inflated store prices which went up because they can .. Like gasoline. So if that's not regulating internet ammo purchases I don't know what is ! They can't stop honest law abiding folks from buying guns but sure as heck can tax the crap out of it and make it a rich mans sport. How many .22's were sold fer Christmas this year ? When you can't buy or find ammo for it, guess little Jonny gets another video game Cartrige. Many family's are not shooting with their children like they use to because of 22 ammo. Just my .02 cents worth based on conversations with folks that don't shoot much any more because of ...... Ammo. Mike
