Ok I misspoke, screws go through the frame. My bad and I apologize. of the 2 laser grips 1 is round butt and one is square butt, which is what I have. If the laser grips fit it is my intention to sell the original wood grips. Thank you for confirming that they are valuable l

Kind of obsure question but I figure someone might know the answer. I have a 1962 K38 Smith and Wesson with original wood grips. I want to replace the grips with Crimson Trace laser grips, either LC-306 or LG-207. I was wondering if Smith made changes to the screw placement that would allow or make this impossible? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cylinder does not turn. Hammer is shrouded. Ejector rod is not touching forward lock.

Learned about wd40 when I was learning pedal steel guitar. They called it fish oil

My wife has a S & W 442. She has not shot it in about 8 - 10 years, it's just been sitting in the case. Last time she shot I cleaned it and put it up. I took it out the other day and the cylinder and release button were stuck. I'm told this is an easy fix. Is this something an ameteur can do or does it need to go to a gun smith? Thanks

Want to buy ATI AKITA adjustable stock for Winchester SXP Defender. Prefer black but any color is ok. If you have one for sale please contact me. Thanks

I would like to put a Magpul stock on my Winchester Defender. It’s a recent issue and basically an 870 clone. Magpul doesn’t have any info on this shotgun. Anyone tried installing this stock one one? If so, what’s involved? Can it be done? Thanks for any help

I'm considering a CMMG banshee but after calling them I was told they mostly build to order so it's unlikely I can find one in a store. I'm hoping someone might have one they would be willing to let me try out. I really hate to buy another weapon without at least laying hands on it first. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Joe

appraisal of old Kentucky long rifle

I'm in Nashville and the rifle is in NC. I'm going to ask my sister to take pics and get the info. She is in NC. If I can get the into I'll post it here. Thanks -
My dad wants me to pick up his original KY long rifle that he's had since the early 1960's. The builder was a watchmaker in the Charlotte NC area and this was supposedly one of his showpieces. My dad has paperwork on the rifle along with accessories form the original purchase. To my knowledge it was originally test fired and then fired by my dad and a friend and cleaned about 20 years ago. He lives in eastern NC. I am in Nashville. I'm looking for a reputable shop/person between these points who could give me a value as I hope to sell the rifle. I would appreciate any suggestions and/or advice. Thank you.

Taurus PT111 Millennium G2 For sale. Like New Condition with box and manual. Purchased in Feb 2017. Taken to the range once, fired about 225 rounds of various FMJ and JHP ammo. All ammo ran flawlessly. The gun was surprisingly accurate but the trigger bit my finger more than I was comfortable with. None of the You Tube reviews mentioned anything about this so I guess I was the odd man out on this. Anyway, I'd rather sell it and get something that doesn't pinch my trigger finger. $180 + bill of sale to TN resident and DL or Carry permit.

I have a couple of handguns and rifles that are old and/or oddballs that I would like to find out if they have any significant value, not necessarily a written appraisal. Anyone have a shop or individual in the Nashville area they recommend for this. Everything is from the 1940's - 1960's. Thanks

How do you apply for a lifetime CP? I've never seen this as an option on the renewal or the state web page.

I ordered a shotgun from them. 1st rate service.

I found the Brownell tool. It looks pretty cheap. Once I learn how to do It, then it's easy. I think I'm going to go with the M& P, swap out the forend with the magpul.

Question for those of you who know ARs: I went to a local shop to get a M & P sport II. I asked how to attach a light. I was told I need to change out the forend to one that had rails, which they had in stock. I was fine with this. When I ask if they could do it for me they said it had to be done by a gunsmith who had a special tool. This is where the excellent price took a $60+ dollar turn. I thought AR were designed to be easily worked on. Is this something specific to the M & P, or am I going down a rabbit hole from the git go? Should I look at the Ruger AR with the screw on sleve to avoid having to deal with this or buy the tool? Thanks

Do the local ranges around Nashville rent AR15s?

I don't have any interest in building my own, at least at this point. My interest is learning about the options and finding an existing built gun that most closely fits what I can determine I want. I guess what I need is some schooling and a shop where I can buy a complete gun.

I've decided it's time to look into replacing/upgrading my shotgun with an AR15 but it's pretty overwhelming. Where's a good shop to go to to learn about AR15s. My budget is under $1,000. Thanks
