I decided to retrieve my M1 Garand from my safe and post it this Memorial Day weekend. I am just in awe of all the brave Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines who fought in World War II. This weekend I plan to reflect and pray for those -- both here and gone -- who sacrificed so much for their country and countrymen. I have plenty of .45 ACP, .9mm, .223, 7.62x39.  Could always use more though.  Oddly enough, I'm scarce .22LR.  Gonna hang tight and wait for the madness to calm down........

I can look at this stuff all day long.  I'm in absolute amazement.

Enfield, thanks for the tip.  Your assessment of this guy is spot on.  After hanging out in Switzerland to dodge the draft, it appears that somewhere along the way he failed an army physical?  What's up with that?

I was surprised to read this.  Then I did some research and learned that our buddy, Sly, has a long history of supporting increased gun control.  Guess I need to pay better attention.  I think I'm gonna pass on his latest movie.

Yesterday a friend of mine suggested that the .22LR shortage may be occurring because people are deliberately conserving their other caliber ammo.  Because they still want to shoot, .22LR becomes the obvious choice.  This sounds plausible to me.
