1. What joy did this man have in life?  He died bitter, lonely and full of hatred.  He lived in a misery of his own and masked it by lashing out at society in an attempt to spread his misery to others.  I'd almost feel sorry for him if it weren't for the added anguish they brought to the families of fallen Servicemembers in their time of mourning.  For that, Fred Phelps and his people need to be run over by a garbage truck.
 2. Ever since my first Savannah St Patty's day, I've been under the impression that the purpose was to celebrate being drunk, motor boating the boobs of total strangers, being drunk, wearing cheap green trinkets and exchanging said trinkets for the sight of bare breasts, vomiting, public urination and awkward drunken sex with college chicks. I'll be damned if the queers are gonna come in and ruin the sanctity of a holiday that has such a rich, sanctimonious history. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Depress/release/repeat quickly was how I was taught. I also don't believe this stuff about grip angle, etc. If you are lining up your sites, focusing on the front, then grip angle means nothing. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
You're missing the point. Grip angle means jack for accuracy. It means everything in regards to sight acquisition, which translates to speed relative to accuracy... this is if the grip angle is something you're not used to. Another reason why first time shooters won't be thrown off by it, but will probably take to being accurate with a Glock quicker than most other conventional pistols, since the grip angle is more ergonomic (as it lines up with the forearm). If I was training new shooters how to sling bullets quickly and accurately I'd be teaching them on a Glock. It would cut half the time off my work. I spent over a decade shooting hundreds of thousands of rounds through a grip angle different to Glocks. It was practically painful to relearn how to quickly acquire sights on such a drastic grip angle when I was forced to change. Now I am a kool aid drinker. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Its a parade dedicated to a day that in modern secular times like this is an excuse to drink to excess.
This is the part that makes the ridiculous even more ridiculous. Our country is stupid sometimes. It makes me sit back and wonder "what the hell"? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
 5.
kind of funny, speaking in general, that the percent of homosexuals is seen as insignificant for the attention they garner. But the percent of HCP holders in TN is seen as significant.
4-6% of the threads. Actually, we're right along the national average. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
 6.
Yet they just did. And as you describe, the media will make sure everyone knows. If they weren't activist before, they are now. Sucked into the vortex of MSM.
Yeah, that seems to be the case. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. They took the less damaging of two choices. The media is hailing them as heroes for taking a stand. If they hadnt made this "stand" and stuck with the status quo (sponsoring the same event that they always have) they would have been raked over the coals. I just can't bring myself to fault them for making a smart business decision. That, and I couldn't care less if Sam Adams became a champion of gay marriage or if they said all gays deserve the Old Testament treatment. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
 7. I think Sam Adams could give a rat's behind about gay rights. They just don't want to be involved in the wave of negative media that is about to be thrown at this "intolerant" event. I don't blame Sam Adams for succumbing to bully tactics; they're just a business and they exist to make money. I bet, regardless of their political or religious views, the employees of Sam Adams want the company to stay as far away from this as possible. I don't expect Sam Adams to take a stand. I expect them to operate a successful business model. Despite what anyone thinks, they have far more to lose by staying with this event than backing away from it. I'm not saying I agree that the circumstances are fair, it's just the reality of it. The left control the media and they will permanently destroy Sam Adams. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
 8. I wish we lived in a time where businesses weren't pressured to take a stand on an issue, then judged on which side of the issue they chose to stand on. I wish they could just sell stuff and people could be happy with that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
 9.   Well there is a big difference between the types of shooting people do.  I see most folks at the range shooting like they're Aaron Burr lining up Hamilton.  When you take your time to aim and make pretty little groups, you don't have to focus on things like muscle memory, so shooting is nothing more than lining up the sights.    For folks like me, we practice combat shooting.  Accuracy has to be balanced with speed.  In order to be fast and still retain acceptable accuracy, you have to build the muscle memory of lining those sights up.  That doesn't happen overnight, and it doesn't happen easily if you've been conditioned for years on something other than Glocks.  I hated Glocks for this reason, until I had to be a good shot with one to earn my pay.  They are actually way, way more ergonomic for building good muscle memory due to the grip angle, it just takes some getting used to for folks who have grown up with standard angled pistols.  It took me two days and several dozen mags, as well as a couple hours at night drawing with a blue gun Glock before I broke my old ways.   I get what you're talking about with point shooting.  It is an effective technique.  Accuracy is more important to me, so I pretty much shoot the same way you're describing, the only difference is my sights automatically line up without though, so I'm not losing any time on my shot, and I'm putting all rounds into something the size of a 3 inch dot.  Everyone here can accomplish that, but it requires practice of repeatedly presenting and lining up your sights.  Once you get that muscle memory down, then it's time to start using live rounds.

People know where that jetliner is. Does anyone else question the coincidence of the crap going on in the Crimea and this little distraction? Can you say NWO?
No, I don't think so. There is always some kind of crisis or international issue which coincides with other big news stories. If Kim Karshittian gets a divorce tomorrow that will distract 3/4 of US media. You could literally spy on every single Americans' digital transmissions and the average American wouldn't care. Distractions aren't required. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
 11.
line up rear sight with front sight. Focus on front sight. Shoot. Rinse and repeat. How freaging hard is that?
It's actually pretty hard for folks that are conditioned to a certain grip angle, like berettas and 1911s. It took me two days on a range to break me. Every time I presented my front sight was angled up. Best way to work on that is to practice (with your weapon cleared) sight acquisition over and over again. I do this once every few weeks about 2-3 dozen times. It really helps with the muscle memory of getting your sights lined up to target without having to focus so much on the "front sight, front sight, front sight" stuff. Ideally, if you practice enough, you should be able to close your eyes present your weapon and have your sights lined up when you open them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

So I am not calling you out TMF, just passing along information or misinformation depending. lol
Okay, last I read the "authorities" claimed that they had less than 4 hours of fuel when they were at their last known location. I guess that has either changed or has conflicting info out there. Like I said before, in the early days of these things there is so much inaccurate data put out which spins off all these nonsensical theories. At any rate, this whole debacle has reconfirmed my opinion that Malaysia is another country of halfwit cavemen. These idiots couldn't find their ass with both hands. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Wouldn't know how it would get there anyway without crossing the airspace of a whole lotta countries. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I don't know if they still do it this way, but when I was in High School you could opt out of the college track and go VoTech where you would learn real world skills instead of algebra. Shop, welding, woodworking, etc...
Yes, but anyone can go there. It isn't a high school campus. I was commenting in regards to folks making this a public school issue. It isn't. This campus is part of a business. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

 16. This wasnt at a public school, this was at a technical college. You can home school your kids on how to be a master welder, but that won't mean squat on a resume. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
 17.
Plastic is cheaper and weighs less than metal. Not only that but since a lot of Guide rods and recoil springs are recommened replacement parts at some number of rounds. So it being plastic not a real issue if you preform the "routine maintenance" suggested by the manufacturer.
I would agree, and that is after having a plastic guide rod disintegrate in my hands during disassembly. This was on a Gen 2 that was likely used as a hammer at some point or to prop up an uneven table. 2 of my pistols have plastic rods in them, and I don't intend to change them out any time soon. I do believe, however, over time this is something that should be replaced if a person shoots a lot or leaves their pistol in their truck where there are extreme temperature changes. For most, though, if your pistol wasnt tied to the bumper of a jeep and drug through the woods for 30 miles, you're probably okay. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
 18. Yep, my truck has nothing to do with penis size or aesthetics; it's all about functionality. I'll probably be driving a rice burner again if I ever go back to commuting, but I'll never get rid of my truck. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
 19.   I don't believe it had enough fuel to reach India's airspace from its last known position.
 20.   Yep, it's why I bought a quad cab when I did, long before having my first kid.  Figured I'd be hanging on to the truck for a while and might need it to fit the family in there.
 21.   I have very specific grip sizes that no one seems to carry unfinished other than custom grip makers.  Compact model, but with an aftermarket beveled magwell, so I would need commander sized grips that are cut flat on the bottom, not tapered.  Ahrends was the only place I saw that did that and had a wide selection of grip material.

I can engrave grips if anyone wants them, and I plan to put some up for sale soon.
Who do you order the grips from? I was looking into doing my own but the only company I found that made the specific ones I needed was Ahrends, and they only take check by mail and there is a wait involved. It is always over-breaded like chicken tenders then over cooked. It ends up tasting like chewy chicken, which is why I suppose many people say it tastes like chicken. It actually tastes nothing like chicken, that's just all that KFC style breaking they coat it with. We use a very, very light dusting of breading which will have a few unique spices/herbs and take it out of the fryer before it turns golden brown. The meat is far more tender and flavorful. If you want to get an idea of the unique flavor of gator that hasn't been cooked out, pan fry it in a little oil and give it a pinch of salt and a little spicy stuff like cayenne to balance it out. I can promise you that it would never be mistaken for chicken. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
 25. Was in Florida a few months back and cooked about 5 lbs of gator tail. Friend of the family was having his gator farm shut down by the Feds, so we got a bunch of meat. If I didn't have 10 tons of kids' crap shoved into my wife's SUV, I'd a brought a few tails back to TN in a cooler. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
